One for the “Story” Books

We absolutely loved staying at this home. Every little detail has been thought of and you feel like you are in your own home. The layout is perfect for any family or group. The home is just gorgeous and so perfectly located. Can’t wait to stay again!

Love this property

We stay here every time we come to visit our daughter in Waco (as long as the property is available). The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. Highly Recommend!

The Story House is adorable! It was so fun looking at all the personal touches they had all over the home! The house was clean, well stocked and had every amenity! If you want a place to stay with a great location, this is the place!

The House with a Story

My family really enjoyed our weekend stay at the Story House because it is so darn cute and comfortable. It is in the middle of Waco close to all the good stuff! The Gustafson were on top of their game with assistance.

Graduation vacation

The property was amazing! We couldn't believe the cleanliness and all the details. It was super comfortable and there was nothing it lacked. We were there for our daughter's Baylor graduation and it made it extra special. We loved being 5 minutes from everything & walking distance from the silos! =)

Fun!

The backyard is awesome. i Don’t remember reading about it but it was fun to chill back there! the hammocks were very comfy and im so glad they had youtube tv (thank the Good Lord) i will say i wish they gave us more trash bags (only 5)

Brynn & Ashton made everything as smooth as possible. When we walked in we felt instantly relaxed. The house is so cozy, the beds, pillows, bedding and vibe of The Story House are good if you need to chill. Beautiful Firepit and backyard. The Gustafsons have it DOWN. Great Getaway!

This was my first time using VRBO and it could not have been better. The reservation process was easy, the owners were helpful and accommodating, and the house was even nicer and more spacious than it appears online. The attention to detail was so inviting that all 6 of us are looking forward to booking The Story House again and expanding our group to The Sterling House next door at the same time. You will not be disappointed!!!

Best Christmas Ever

I have never written an online review for anything in my life but this place deserves it. The pictures are fantastic but the place was even better. The design, the layout, the thought that went into this place is really amazing. My four kids and I decided to celebrate Christmas 2020 here and it exceeded our expectations. My four young children loved the bunk beds and the walk to the silos will take about 3-4 minutes tops! My wife can be fairly picky about cleanliness and style of places we stay but if you’re headed to Magnolia Market, there isn’t a better place to stay. My wife loved absolutely everything in this home and the communication with the owners was second to none. They have thought of every detail. Enough said, go ahead and book it.

Best Family Weekend Getaway

This was home away from home! The lay out of the home is perfect! The location is amazing, walking distance from Magnolia & a variety of different places to eat. Whether we sat in the living room watching a movie or outside in the lounge chairs under the lights; everyone was relaxed & enjoyed their stay. Thank you for sharing your home with our family!
