“We were disappointed since we had expected much better service since this is a 5 star hotel and we paid a lot for it. The facilities such as tenniscourt and fitness center was missing and the gym was a disaster - broken treadmill and rosty equipment. Also the last day we asked for AirPort transfer by taxi and they told us that they could not provide this. They told us to arrange it ourselves, or go to the nearest village! “Great location, wonderful warm pool, freindly and nice staff, good food in the restaurant (both buffe, menu and breakfast) and drinks. Location next to the beach (mostly red flag though) The hotel had a nice spa and a small but ok gym. Nice to use the sun beds in the garden where the breeze cooled you down for a bit. Really recommend it. The will make a total renovation may-oct 2016”

“Very helpful friendly and kind personell. View is spectacular and the Hotel area is nice but somewhat worn. Minor errors like cold showers for a few hours etc. But the impression is a very caring hotel. Food is pretty nice as well. Not much more expensive than the beach restaurants. “I am so glad we booked Reef to finish off our Sri Lankan holiday - it was absolutely perfect from the huge, luxurious suites to the exceptional service and food. Dino and team could not do enough for us, but it was never over the top - we just felt well hosted by the entire team. Worth every penny to stay in such a secluded space on a beautiful coastline - we saw more cows on the unspoilt beach than people and you get a beautiful western sunset from Reef.”
