Friendly staff, perfect location
We had a great stay at Petra Mariott. The hotel has a nice, native feel to it without compromising on quality and service. Situated on a hill the hotel has a splendid view over the valley and Petra is still only a few minutes away with car. We had some issues with the booking (that wasn't the hotels fault), but they nevertheless helped us with an extra room. Very attentive and friendly staff.

The staff was outstanding--professional and friendly. They really seemed concerned on the quality of our stay. The restaurant service as excellent--and the quality of the food (especially from that region) was great. The views from the hotel are exceptional--overlooking the Petra area.

Nice room , but the bed sheets seemed like they weren’t changed (hair and staining). The ac was preset and would not let us adjust it . Woke up because it was warm in the room . The staff were very nice/ helpful. Breakfast was also very nice . Overall it was fine for our one night at Petra .

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Hotel was in a great location, close to Petra. Beautiful views from the bar and terrace. Bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a great choice. Rooms were a bit tired but fine for short stay.

The location was great as it was away from the town with views of the mountains. The staff were attentive, friendly and genuinely nice. The bar and restaurant offered a superb choice for drinking and dining with a bar snack/light menu and an a la carte menu. We sampled them both and they were delicious. The spa staff and facilities were amazing, we had a Turkish bath and massage and used the sauna and steam room. Overall perfect stay.

Wir hatten drei wunderbare Nächte im Mariott Petra. Der Ausblick ist atemberaubend schön, besonders zum Sonnenuntergang. Das Hotel ist schon von der Einrichtung älter, ist aber sehr sauber und gut in Schuss gehalten. Wir wollten an zwei Tagen immer um sechs am Eingang von der Felsenstadt sein und haben vom Hotel morgens Lunchboxen gestellt bekommen. Man fährt ca. 7 Minuten mit dem Auto zum kostenlosen Parkplatz beim Eingang zu Petra. Das Personal und der Manager sind alle unglaublich freundlich und haben uns das Gefühl gegeben, uns wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Nach einem langen Tag in Petra haben wir immer am Pool relaxed und abends immer den heißen Steam room genutzt und haben unsere Körper von den Anstrengungen erholt. Da ich Vegetarierin bin, hat uns die Küche abends leckere jordanischen Speisen, die nicht in der Karte sind, zubereitet und uns verwöhnt. Einfach nachfragen, dann werden eure Wünsche erfüllt. Vielen lieben Dank für die wunderschöne Zeit in diesem Hotel. Ich war traurig gehen zu müssen :)

Very nice, but expensive
The hotel is really beautiful and the service and staff are great. Food on the Bedouin tent was amazing. Nonetheless, I found it too expensive.
