  • Relaxing, quiet location with great views of the Akaroa heads.

    We don’t have WIFI, so enjoy reading some books, playing games, watching movies (there is a small range of DVDs available) or just sit back and listen to the birds chirping!

    Enjoy walks and swims down at the beach as well as a short drive to some local wineries.

    Akaroa is only a 20min drive if you want to explore some of the local shops or have a meal out. The Duvauchelle Pub also does great meals!

    Tea, Coffee, Sugar, cooking oil, salt & pepper, laundry powder is available for use.

    There is no shop in Wainui so it’s important to come prepared. The closest shop is Duvauchelle.

    Please be aware that there is no railing around the deck so there is a need to be mindful with small children and the drop off it.

Awesome little batch with great view. It was a little stay for us, only from 8pm to 10am, but really enjoyed the view waking up, and the place is really well equipped and maintained.

Loved our stay, stunning views, nice 10 min walk down beautiful track to the beach. Good fully equip kitchen and teens loved having a few board games and picked a DVD from the huge selection. Room for the boat, ute and a van. One NZ reception/service worked good from this location. Left at 7am and got to watch a beautiful sunrise!Thankyou

The place was a lovely warm place. Had everything that we needed. The view was fabulous and close enough to the beach we could walk down on the trail.All in all, I would recommend

Refreshing

The Native Birds, sun rises, ocean views and bush made this a haven to relax and unwind. Pete was awesome to deal with in every respect. Totally recommend this one.

Great getaway in a lovely clean house

Was a great location, nice view and easy to get to. House was clean and had everything you need - lots of utensils and condiments. And a good selection of DVDs in case you need them!
