  • Welcome to our beautiful glamping cabin, nestled in the lush and vibrant native bushland of Waipu, Te Tai Tokerau / Northland. Our cabin offers a peaceful and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A king size four-poster bed, second room space with single bunk beds for the family or friends, enjoy a break on your own or with loved ones. Solar-powered lighting and fridge, outdoor barbecue with side-burner. USB charge point but no power points. We can't wait to welcome you to our little piece of paradise in the Bream Bay area, with all its attractions

The place was absolutely splendid! And amazing night away where we got to sit outside by the fire and it was the best night for stargazing. The local Pizza Barn is so worth it too Overall and incredible night at such an incredible place!

Everything was just as expected, a very clean and well maintained spot, lots of wildlife about in the evenings including weta, morepork and kiwi, will definitely be back!

Would recommend bringing some extra firewood as you can quickly burn through the supply and use in excess! So to be fair to the host would be a good idea to bring extra. Same goes for the candles as you can burn them pretty quick. Take note of the power bank and no plug-in power so you arrive prepared. A great host, a very special experience and had all you needed. Great spot to stay!

Bathroom was very clean and nicely appointed. The whole tent is great. Very spacious, the bed is comfortable, and kitchenette was perfect. We didn't use the BBQ, as we went to the Cove restaurant (less than 15 mins away) for dinner.

The place is nice and tidy. Nice small little touches from the Host. Not too far from Waipu town and Cove, 10min and 15min drive. The Tub is so nice over the night sky and stars. Would Highly recommend a stay here.

The safari tent and location was perfect and the hosts left lovely touches. The bath was just incredible and deck for yoga stretches in morning were perfect. Lots of privacy also.

Lovely safari tent and facilities though not as secluded as we had thought. Clean and cosy Some treats available like tea, coffee, hot choc powder, some cereal, milk and a block of chocolate and salt and pepper. The vegetation around the tent was a little wild but the owners did mention that due to the weather they had not had the opportunity to mow or tidy up. Comfortable bed, lovely shower and outdoor bathtub.

The whole set up was great. Lots of ammenities including a thermos of hot water that kept warm till the morning for a cup of coffee. We loved the outdoor bath and enjoyed it in the morning. Would highly recommend.

My partner and I stayed 2 nights. We were left a welcoming note and choccie bar in the fridge. The location was superb, the weather (although cold) treated us well. The glamp offered some goodies, such as, tea, coffee, cereal, milk and s&p. We made good use of the BBQ and the outdoor seating area. We weren’t able to use the bath unfortunately as the hot water ran out pretty quickly. We also thought it’d be helpful to mention in our review that the glamp has a rather hairy driveway (steep, tight and a bit muddy in winter - take a car that you have faith in (4wd or of the likes). The glamp is situated about 300m down from the host’s house (driveway is shared). We were pleased with the privacy, the peace and quiet, would definitely recommend staying - maybe in the warmer seasons though!
