“The location of this hotel could not have been better, right on the beach and close to the ferry, stores and restaurants. There were many positives about the hotel including a charming lobby, porches overlooking the main street in front and beach in back with comfortable seating. However, I'm not sure if the peeling paint on the walls was a decorative choice (the distressed look) or general disrepair. Our room had a balcony overlooking the beach which was its finest feature but the room...

“Place was clean, quiet and rooms large, however place is dated, beds were hard, the tv was too small for the size of the room, the check-in person was not helpful when we asked for good places to eat and if your going to put rooms where your lit hotel sign is, then put room darkening curtains up not slatted white window shades.”

“I loved my stay at Eureka Hotel. We stayed in Room 109 and it had a cute little porch we utilized in the morning and at night. The view was beautiful. I can’t say enough about the staff. They all were super friendly, kind and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. The farm (animals) and garden were amazing. Overall, super happy!!”

The outdoor furniture that was part of my room was really dusty and dirty and I wish I was able to sit and use that part of my room while I was there. The couch in my room was very stained. I do think the staff could wipe down the outdoor furniture that is connected to the rooms. The fruit at the continental breakfast was moldy. I always enjoy the shore house locations so I know the cleanliness mentioned...

“The Inn was lovely. The room was small, but authentic and fine. The problem is the food service is very spotty. The restaurant has limited hours and days- no breakfast except on weekends. Also if you have a room on a Monday, most of the day and all night there is no one working at all- you are alone! And on Tuesday when we needed to check out, there was no one working. We had to leave the keys in an unlocked room. ”

“The staff were nice, but the room smelled awful. I wasn't sure what the smell was, old smoke possibly. The bed barely fit in the odd shaped room. The floor was tile and felt unclean. When I pulled back the top sheet on the bed there was dirt in the bed. There wasn't a way to plug in my phone charger near my bed as the only side table was up against a door to another room with no outlet nearby. The walls were so thin that I was kept up well past midnight from the party that was going on next...
