Wonderful location - convenient for all the sites we wanted the explore. Flys flys flys everywhere !!!I think there was a breakdown in housekeeping. I’m not sure if the owner is aware. Towels in the bathroom were damp. Sheets left in the dryer. Nice convenient place - just not very clean. Hopefully just a one off and not norm for this location.

Due to scheduling, we could only stay one night. If we had extra time, we would have loved to stay at this property. Exactly what we needed - quiet, clean and affordable. If you need several days to fully explore the Badlands area (you do), then this is THE place to stay !!!

Great location for visiting Badlands & walking around Wall. This house has most of what you need to stay & cook. The basement of the house has its own living area where someone else was staying that wasn't disclosed in the listing - there is one shared door.

The host was super responsive and we could easily walk to Wall Drug and dining. It was an extremely short drive to the Badlands, which is why we were visiting. Cute decor which emphasized the local culture. There appeared to be a basement living quarters below us (with a separate entrance) which was not disclosed ahead of time. If anyone was down there they were very quiet, but it we would have appreciated a heads up that there was a basement to the property.

Great location to see the Badlands

It was clean with newer and working apppliances, A/C, and washer. Big closets, comfortable beds. It had a driveway parking space. Parking on street, if needed. It's a 10 minute drive to Badlands National Park, straight down the Road. Wall Drug and other shops and restaurants are a 2 to 3 block walk. Red Rock restraunt and bar is 2 doors down. Wakin Bacon food truck for breakfast sandwiches is a block away. There's no usable outside yard, but that wasn't missed or needed when you're there to see the Badlands. There was no dishwasher, but we didn't really need one. It's decorated with a rustic Badlands theme. My family and I enjoyed our stay.

The rental was very clean and the host was very responsive. The location was nice as well, right near the Badlands and Wall Drug (which was a lot of fun). I'd recommend this property.

Perfectly peaceful and best location

Our family had the best stay at Reno Gulch. Everything was clean, beautiful and better than expected. Comfortable beds and living space, extra little amenities inside and out, all modern and updated, helpful responsive host. Perfectly located between Hill City and Custer, we were a close drive to all the parks and attractions, right IN the hills with the most beautiful view- you really can’t beat it especially for those looking to be a little secluded. Off the main road but close to the hwys out. My favorite thing might have been watching the kids play every morning in the on-property Creek and collect pinecones and explore on the hill. Every night, after a busy day of hiking and adventuring, we got to come home to cook dinner and play games together in this cozy, comfortable “cabin” - and it was roomy enough for us each to get some alone time here there too. Thank you for the memories!!
