âStayed one night on the way home from the Delaware Beaches. Overall it seems to be a well managed hotel, and some of the rooms have a wonderful view over the bay. We arrived in the middle of a rainstorm, and our first room, with a view, had a bit of a damp smell to it. After alerting the staff, we were moved to another room - larger but with less of a view. The neighborhood is a marina with several seafood restaurants on walking distance. The free breakfast was OK, although a bit limited....
âOnly complaint, the blackout drapes were almost two feet too short. I had to barricade the windows with couch cushions to block the lights entering at the floor level up to two feet high. It wouldâve been nice to have a light switch to turn off lights on the terrace (never found one).
That issue aside, bed comfort was decent with a variety of pillows. Bathroom was clean, room was comfy, spacious, had a great view (paid extra for it) and the hire is in a convenient location - within walking...
âThis is a beautiful hotel. We were given a room with a balcony. Gorgeous view of the bay. Lovely watching the sunset and then sunrise from the balcony. The room was clean. Bed comfortable. For the price would've been nice to have breakfast included but that's minor. â

âThe closers on the doors are so harsh, they rattle your ear drums. It is difficult to sit in the lobby and read with the doors banging all of the time. Even the checkin clerk has a door behind him that goes bang all of the time. Children under 10 would have a hard time even getting out of a room, in case of fire.â
âThe room suited our needs. In the midst of a heat wave the air conditioning worked very well on a non-stop basis for 5 days. The room's refrigerator didn't have a freezer but the staff accommodated us by letting us use the dining area's freezer. The room was clean and after exhaustive days of sightseeing the beds were a welcome landing zone. The television offered an adequate choice of channels. The one negative (for us) is having the bathroom sink outside the bathroom. The breakfast had a nice...
âAll in all Iâm satisfied with the hotel, but I prefer harder mattresses, so the bed was a little uncomfortable for me.
The breakfast is good, but it took very long to come out, even if there was nobody eating at the same time. â
