“Downside, pool gates didn’t unlock with the keys. Otherwise, everything else was great. Breakfast, courtyard, pool… no concerns.”

“So perfect for the night we got married!! We had a mossy fern wedding theme and there are only boring hotels in the area except this sweet quiet magic box in the woods. The bed was SO comfortable, we arrived at 11:30pm with no problem checking in. The huge window to the trees was so romantic and we didn’t see another human the entire time we were there. We cracked the window to sleep and heard owls in the night.”

“This property was great. There was a good pet area at the back of the hotel with easy in and out access from all of the rooms. The breakfast had lots if selections With everything from juice, fruit, eggs and hash browns and sausage. Staff was very helpful and the hotel even had a great space for smokers! We were so impressed we sre staying again in July with 13 family members. Great Job La Quenta staff!”

“The air conditioning was a little weak, and it was a hot weekend, but everything else was great. We stayed on the bottom floor and it was a great decision! The couch in the room was a little run down but it wasn’t a make it or break it and the beds were super comfy! This is our second time staying here and we would stay here again, also the breakfast is great too! Great location as well.”

“The Hero is great for a romantic getaway with spa services. The jetted tubs in the rooms are enormous. The ambiance is cozy. The free breakfast includes eggs made to order. The massages are awesome. We will be back.”

“We had ants in the bathroom, but the towels were clean. Toilet seat was severely mastered and distasteful looking. The beds were made nicely, but the sheets had stains. The room was not cleaned well. There were large chunks of debris on the floors. The armchair did not look clean at all and the lamp had a burned out bulb. The breakfast was sparse, but tolerable. The staff were helpful and polite though.”
