Basic Unit- Two bedroom listing is a stretch

The unit was clean and had all basic needs. The second bedroom is actually more like a converted space. The forts have glass panes with no covering so the room was exposed. Also there is no closet in the bedroom and no mirror. As I was traveling with a colleague for business this was less than ideal.

Know before you go

This listing does not tell the whole story of this experience. You will go thru We Host not vrbo to pay. There is not an owner but a separate rental company which is very confusing and felt like a scam at first. Just know it is extra steps and people to deal with. Watch your emails and vrbo messages carefully. In terms of the rental itself the staff at the complex was very friendly and helpful. There is a small grocery on the property and a lovely pool and gym. The room itself is nice but you should know a few things. This unit is by the elevator and you will hear elevator noise often. When they say they provide towels they mean one thin bath towel..no washclothes, no hand towels, no bath mat to step out on, no dish towels and no pool towels. I didnt find that suffficient. The ironing board was a small one like you'd have at a college dorm. There is very little character to this rental. The walls were very bare and there was very little in lighting. Just be prepared if you pick this rental.

Convenient stay for visiting DC

This was a great place close to pentagon city mall and metro. Lots of dining choices in a very nice building complex, with very helpful concierge. It was great to have three beds and a nice space to spread out in.

A stone's throw away from the National Mall

The condo is roomy with bare bones furnishings. Just the essentials. Lobby staff are accommodating, but be sure to ask where to park when you check in! Beds are comfy but pillows are very flat and lack support. The location is superb, 1 block from the Metro and surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars. Traffic is a mess all around DC, so take public transportation and save the nightmare of trying to find on street parking! The Metro is cheap! For the location alone, I would stay in this unit again.
