Four of us stayed two nights (in suites) for a total of around $4600 and it was nowhere near worth it. The rooms we were assigned were in very poor, tired condition. This site reported back to the front desk my negative feedback, which prompted the hotel management to "upgrade" us (while the new rooms were recently renovated and much, much improved they were in the same room class we'd originally booked, so it is unclear how it was an upgrade). We voiced a number of other service concerns (related to the spa, pool staff, restaurant, etc. -- all remarkably substandard) in as kind and constructive a manner as possible and the front desk manager was receptive to hearing them and tried to ameliorate the problems. Still though, besides transferring us to renovated rooms, no other remuneration was offered and the price of our stay was not commensurate with the caliber of rooms, service, grounds, dining, spa services. This property needs to charge a room rate reflective of their standards or do more work to increase those standards. I'm sorry our time and this review is not more positive.
