Great Place to Stay
Our stay here was comfortable and relaxing. Its great to be so near the city, but be able to escape the noise when its time to relax. This home was in a beautiful area. We had our own private entrance and all the conveniences we needed for a 4-night stay.

Great place to relax
The apartment is located in a beautiful picturesque location. The host was excellent and answered our requests very quickly. The apartment was well appointed and very clean. The rooms were very large and comfortable. If I visit Washington again I would definitely book this again.

Beautiful & Quiet
This is a wonderful location that was very well kept. The property is very quiet and the grounds were beautiful! The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. Hugh also left some great restaurant recommendations! We easily drove to the metro daily to head into DC. We will definitely come back! Thank you!

Great Location, Beautiful Space
The hospitality & accommodations that my cousin and I enjoyed during a getaway weekend far exceeded expectations. We were thrilled to stay in such a lovely, clean, well-appointed space! Our host, Hugh, was a delight! He was incredibly welcoming and kind. He not only provided a valuable welcome packet, he graciously answered several questions and took time to make sure that we had all the comforts of home. I highly recommend this property to travelers visiting the Bethesda, MD area.

Kids' first time in DC
This was a fantastic place to unwind after miles on concrete in the National Mall and Museums. Hugh was fantastic and more than willing to help with anything that we had questions about. The kitchen appliances are in the walk-through closet area (very nicely laid out). Don't expect to cook for yourself, but with all the food options nearby, go try those! Worked well for yogurt/oatmeal for the kids before heading off on adventures. Very comfortable beds/linens. Easy to find and then get to/from during our stay. Loved the long list of restaurant/activity recommendations. Only not a good choice if you have significant trouble with stairs as it is a mother-in-law quarters set of rooms above the garage and you go up a short bit of stairs to get to the space. Would definitely stay there again next time we head to the DC area.

Clean and cozy. Comfy beds. Spacious. Delightful and responsive host. No full kitchen if you are looking for that, but all the amenities otherwise; fridge, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, etc. We had a great stay!

Very clean, safe neighborhood
We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. It had everything we needed except a freezer, but Hugh let us use the one in the garage. Bed was comfortable, and it had a nice area to relax in the evening. It was a short walk to a bus stop, which took us right to the friendship heights metro station, which whisked us into Washington DC. One metro card got us on both the bus and train. We wondered if we were going to be too far away, but it was a quick trip. High was out of town during our stay, but was very responsive by text, and his housekeeper Elena took care of everything we needed. It was quiet and comfortable and a very nice stay.

Perfection!
My husband and I were bringing our daughter to begin her freshman year st George Washington University. She stayed with us the first night; the second night it was just us as she stayed in her new dorm. What a beautiful, peaceful home! The perfect place for us to stay before her move-in. Fantastic carpet (so plush!), beautiful furniture, every need and want anticipated! Cleaner than clean:) Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. My daughter slept like a baby: a rest she needed. My husband and are are seasoned hospitality industry folks: we complain about nothing (everyone is doing their best) but notice everything. This residence is perfection! I’m absolutely positive we will reach out to Hugh every time we go down to visit DC. Sending our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude his way xoxoxo

Peaceful stay
Nice and peaceful stay. Just what our family of four needed after long days of sightseeing DC. Beds are comfy, space is large enough and bathroom was spacious. Space was clean. If we ever decided to drive from Texas to DC again, we would definitely stay here again.

D C trip
My friend Tammy and I came to DC to celebrate my sister-in-laws life and to do some sightseeing. Hugh's rental was perfect for us! We had some meals out, but were able to have some meals in with the mini kitchen set up. Hugh was the BEST host that I have ever had with any of my rental stays over the last 15 years or so. He was quick to respond to messages sent and very accommodating. The location is so wonderful. Very close to everything and yet it feels like it's in the country. The landscaping of the yard is so lovely. The 1st morning of our going down stairs to catch an uber to the car rental location, there was a red cardinal in the tree by our door as walked out! Perfect omen for a great stay. I am already planning my next trip out for visiting friends and of course sightseeing. Hugh's place will be my place if available!

Conveniently located (for our DC exploring) in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. Close and Convenient
Close to the C&O Canal; great restaurants; and a short drive to the Friendship Heights Metro and short term parking. Just a quick drive to downtown DC and the Mall, Cherry Blossoms or to Northern Virginia and Dulles Airport. A quiet place to stay and, especially nice, the neighbor's waterfall helps to calm even the most restless traveler.

Property was perfect for our needs- a comfy place to sleep and have a quick breakfast before spending time with relatives nearby. No kitchen, but most everything we needed (microwave, fridge, coffee maker, etc). A plethora of amenities provided, detailed instructions for alarm system, entertainment systems, etc. Beds were very comfortable. Quiet neighborhood. My one complaint would be that there was a musty/moldy odor throughout the space. Overall, we were very happy with the property.

Great Stay
The purpose of our trip was to visit DC museums and visit friends in the area and we were looking for places to stay for the nights and get prepared for our days. The location is awesome since it is close to many major roads and highways and make trips much easier, it is also in a super quiet neighborhood and close enough to downtown Bethesda that we preferred to stay a little bit longer in the area and explore. Overall, we had a great experience staying here.

Great place to stay to tour around DC. It's in a great secure neighborhood with only a 20 min away.
The place was great and could comfortably sleep 5 or 6 people. Only a 20 minute commute to DC. Plan on eating out though if more than 3 people. There was seating for 3 at the table. Overall very happy with the stay.

Beautiful House and Grounds
The house was very beautiful with lovely landscaping. The swimming pool and tennis courts looked very inviting, although we didn't have time to use them. The rooms were very large with plenty of seating for everyone. The entertainment system had so many choices and features but there were instructions on how to use everything. There were all sorts of little extras in case you forgot some of your toiletries. The host was very helpful and told us where we might find parking during our sightseeing. We would definitely stay there again.

Cozy getaway
The space was as described and pictured. It was a quiet, comfortable place to rest after a couple long days on the road and packing up our daughter.
