“Great location. Nice clean room. I requested an ocean view and they were able to accommodate me. Air-conditioner worked great. They provided a lot of towels in the room! And that seems to be less common these days. Great stay overall. Also, Duke was the best part of the check in. He's a good boy.”
“The Mermaid Inn is one of our favorite motels. The rooms are decorated with a Mermaid/nautical style with some retro appliances. Overall gives a very homey feeling. Rooms are very clean, staff is really friendly and helpful.
Situated between a gas station/store and a Mexican restaurant you have access to fresh food and all the amenities you might have forgotten to pack. Like much of the Long Beach peninsula, the Mermaid is quiet and laid back...but still in walking distance to "downtown" and...
“Our stay was great, Booked last minute for the Labor Day and holiday and was able to get a nice ocean view suite. Location right by the beach access entrance was excellent. The staff was friendly and very helpful if we had any questions. Our room was clean and more spacious than expected. Would definitely stay again.
