Beautiful modern rustic barn located near state parks and Chain o Lakes.

  • This property is a one of a kind modernized rustic barn.

    A large living room with wood burning fireplace & great natural lighting, dining table seats 10, plus 6 counter seats. Butler kitchen includes its own dishwasher & large side by side refrigerator/freezer. A beverage/bar station offers a wine & beer fridge stocked with glassware. The main cooking area overlooks the family room and has a large refrigerator, double ovens, gas stove with griddle, coffee maker, microwave, & toaster oven. Large screen TV's w/ vcr and dvd players. Lower Level has a family room with a gas fireplace and large sitting area. A children's art corner will keep the little ones busy.

    This rental sleeps 12 people with 2 rooms on second floor and a lower level with 3 rooms.

    An additional apartment may be added to sleep 6 more. (please inquire for pricing)

    Near Hartman's creek state park, standing rock county park, the chain of lakes, Foxfire Golf, Snowmobile Trails, etc.

    Pets are welcomed for a small fee.

We have been coming here for years now and the place is as wonderful as it’s ever been. The space is perfect for large groups. We just absolutely love our stay here and look forward to it every year.

This property was the PERFECT location to use as a central gathering spot (& lodging for some) for our family reunion. The kitchen was incredible - even according to a family member who's an executive chef), with two huge refrigerators & a huge freezer & massive counter space for prep, buffet & eating. The open living/dining room with large table was the center for storytelling, games and reconnecting with family members. The living area with stone fireplace and comfortable couches was impressive yet cozy and the moose fit right in! The lower level allowed kids the freedom to play while giving adults space upstairs. The large deck surrounded by classic WI green fields offered additional seating & relaxing lounge space. Beds were very comfortable & bathrooms were abundant.The big red barn was easy to find & centrally located. Hosts were accommodating & responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better location to build family memories. This VRBO is a true gem & we'll worth the cost. I'd highly recommend it!

The place is great. Location was convenient. Close enough to town if need be. However, for the price, I was hoping there would be more supplies etc... (paper plates, batteries, dishwasher pods, hair dryer, lightbulbs, etc....) Also, I think the cleaning fee is steep especially if we are expected to strip beds etc.... With that being said, I would stay here again as the place is pretty cool for a bigger group.

Women’s Weekend

Everything was perfect

The property is beautiful. The renovated barn is full of warmth and character. Loved the fixtures and decor. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time there. Thank you to the owners, we would love to come back!

Very nice and unique. Being a farm family, we could appreciate the atmosphere. Kitchen area was great and plenty of gathering spaces. Only concern was that it wasn’t very accessible for our elderly parent in bathrooms and bedrooms were on top and bottom level, none on the main floor. Overall, a wonderful experience.

Christmas magic at the barn

We have stayed at the barn twice for Xmas and it has been magical! The location, the beauty of the design and finishes. So special thank you for renting out the space to us.
