“My parents and I had dinner and stayed a night at The Fourth Lock before heading home the next morning. The food was delicious and the restaurant's ambiance was wonderful with beautiful views of the lake. The room we stayed at was very spacious, clean and comfortable and also had an excellent view of the lake. Highly recommended!”

“I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn since I was a child in the 70's (in Bethesda in Maryland). Nearly 50 years later I stayed at the Holiday Inn at Halifax Airport mainly because of my late arrival at the airport and it was really nice.
I stayed in a suite on the third floor and it was spacious, quiet and very clean.
The staff in general at the hotel were all very pleasent and helpful.
Some of the furniture in the room seemed to be from the 70's and the wooden knives and forks in the breakfast...
“The hotel was very clean and in pristine condition. The pool was quite large and the water slide was lots of fun for everyone. Bedroom was absolutely amazing and so comfy. Breakfast selection was pretty good and was very clean, also there’s lots of space for people to sit around and eat, so definitely no need to worry about not finding somewhere to sit.”

“All staff were very nice and helpful. Was only 15 minutes from the Halifax waterfront which was really convenient. Hotel seemed really new and freshly renovated.”
“Bathroom could use some renovation but everything was clean, with hot water and enough pressure in the shower. If you have issues with stairs be certain to request a main floor room. Excellent value for the cost. I’d certainly stay there again. ”
