We booked 5 rooms for our team to come work TX2K this week. We told the staff at the front desk that one of our employees will be arriving late when we checked in. When he showed up the next day, his room had been given away and he was marked as a ‘no show’. When we requested a refund because they had no more rooms they denied it and claimed to have called us, which was a blatant lie, none of us had missed calls. They then lied and said they were having phone issues. Then they said I would have to speak to the general manager, and she would be in mid day. (This was 8am) So I came back at 130pm the same day and she was ‘already gone’ but had denied our refund because we didnt call and let them know. Again we let them know at the front desk upon arrival that the team was coming in at different times but everyone is coming. The hotel staff is a team of liars and scam artists. I will be escalating this to their corporate team.

The hotel looked amazing until we got to our room. As soon as we walked in, there was smell to the carpet. It smelled like a boys locker room. I sprayed the room with lysol but it just masked the smell.The beds had big brown stains on them. Good thing they had covers on them.i asked house keeping to vaccum but it still smelled. I really hope it was just my room.i wish i could post the pics so you can see the beds

Had to go to front desk multiple times to get a key that worked. Mattress was awful. Lumpy and very uncomfortable. Somehow got a handicap room. Fine except for having to get on my knees to use the bathroom mirror. Larger mirror could work for handicap and non handicapped guests.

There was one girl that was amazing. I had just had surgery on my back and I was wanting a waffle and could tell I was in need of assistance. She made my waffle, got me some syrup. I asked if I got some milk. She was amazing!!!!!

I The breakfast was good and the staff was nice. The duvet had a stain on it, a picture in the restroom has the frame delaminating and there was black mold visible under the silicone caulk around the bathtub.

The staff members were very nice and the room was clean. But there was an event directly below our room that vibrated the bed, floors, and walls making it impossible to rest. We were not given any warning of a possible disruption that could be caused by the event on site during check in. The event and noise however did end exactly when the front desk attendant indicated it would.

Not terrible if you need a bed for the night, but they REALLY need to do some upgrades and upkeep. A lot of damaged property and some unsavory stains on the desks, sheets and curtains/blinds. Parts of the shower we're falling apart. The staff was kind and very helpful though.

I booked this stay like I have booked trips over the last 23 years and I have never had an issue like I had with this stay. We ran into some issues and didn’t get checked in until late although I have had similar situations. I’ve never had my room given away. The guy at the front desk said he tried to call me. I never received any call from any number and ready to check in my room given to someone else, I was then given a different room that would have been a cheaper room and the room room smelled of dog poop. I talked to a lady who said she was going to get me another room and later she called back and said that the room was flooded so they couldn’t give me that room , we tough it out because we had to be there but mind you I have been booking and staying at hotels frequently for the last 23 years due to job and other things and never had the problems I had at this hotel… oh, and yes, I have stayed here previously and still never encountered a situation like this.

Good Morning, Upon my research it does show your reservation went to no show. As our system does run an audit for the day before at 2am. When you arrived it was 2:40a unfortunately, when our system runs the audit it releases any rooms reserved. Our night auditor gave you the suite type we had available. Its notated that he did attempt a phone call and there was no answer to see if you would be making prior to our Audit running. There was no report of the rooming smelling until 2:45p on November 23,2023 we had limited housekeeping as we provide them the time off with family. If reported to us first thing in that day. We would have been more thne happy to clean the room for you. We did reserve a room out of curtesy for you however, we did have a Maintenance issue and, could not sell the room prior to you arriving back to our property. It was not a flood. During the call there was no mention as to what type of maintenance emergency it was. We did not have Maintenance on property due it being a Holiday. While speaking to you I offered to go to the suite and clean it myself for you and check on the smell in the room. You did decline my entry into the Suite. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

The Best Customer Service and Hotel
I visited Waxahachie, TX, for my teammate's conference, and when I arrived at the hotel, I was immediately welcomed with a warm welcome. The front desk agent mentioned that my hotel reservation was canceled and that I needed to get in contact with Expedia so that they could make a new reservation and virtual card. Expedia went back and forth with me for a while, and eventually, they went with the resolution the Front Desk Agent mentioned the first time. If it weren’t for God and the Front Desk agent, I would have been stranded!! Thank you so much for helping me and being so kind. I will never forget you. The best hotel I've been to in forever! Everyone needs to stay at Comfort Inn Waxahachie!!
