The house was great. It was clean and stocked with anything we could possible need. The parking was easy and the location was excellent. It was just 2 blocks to town with lots of restaurants and shops. The host were easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions. We travel to Waxhaw often to visit family. We will definitely look to stay here in the future.

House was as advertised. Beautifully decorated, very clean, amazing location and very responsive host. We (4 adults) all worked remotely during our stay and the WiFi was never an issue. Other than the location, the screened in porch was the highlight of the stay. Definitely the 1st place I’ll look when scheduling next trip to Waxhaw. Thank you for an amazing stay!

The location is excellent. Nice neighborhood and walking distance to the cutest little town. The house was just as described - very clean…which is a priority to me! I loved the screened in porch and the kitchen looked new.Wendi also had so many things there for her guest to use…Definitely stay there again. Wendi was very sweet with any questions!

This property is well-located and well-maintained. It's stocked with all the supplies you'll need. We walked to downtown in about 5 minutes. (There's a pedestrian bridge that takes you out of the neighborhood directly in to shopping and dining.Our host was very cordial and the house was nicely decorated and clean. I highly recommend this residence when visiting Waxhaw.

Wonderful Waxhaw retreat!

This house is truly a home away from home. It is located in such a cute area of town while also being very quiet and relaxing. The fenced in yard is amazing for pets and the trees provide great shade. The screened in porch was also a very welcoming part of the property. Everything inside was extremely clean and comfortable. We appreciated the house being stocked with coffee, creamer, and plenty of other kitchen essentials. The filtered water container in the fridge was also great. And thank you for having good quality toilet paper, towels, and toiletries. Truly made us feel at home, and we all got a great sleep. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

We enjoyed our week long stay in this home. It is very close to downtown Waxhaw, enabling us to walk to local restaurants and, of course, get ice-cream in the evening!The house was had everything that we needed during the week. Couldn't have asked for more. We will definitely try ro reserve space here when we have another extended stay in Waxhaw.

Peaceful and comfortable

We were in town for a long wedding weekend. With a one year old we opted to do a home environment. It was “the one”. She loved the screened porch. The wildlife was fun to watch. Multiple squirrels, birds and we even saw a small deer. Walking distance to great little pubs and kid friendly food. Downtown Waxhaw is a delight. Beds were comfortable and every possible thing you could need was thought of. Even Tony’s. Down south people know what this is. Overall I wish we had a few extra days to stay. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Wendy was great. Even answered when I couldn’t find the towels that were right behind the door. Very eclectic and homey. If that’s what you are looking for this is the place.

Great Little Place

Great location just 2 blocks from Main Street in Waxhaw. We were able to walk to everything. It’s very well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of towels, wash cloths, paper products, etc. We loved the screened in porch and found it comfortable. The kitchen has everything you will need for your stay. Communications with the owner was very responsive and very pleasant with all communications. I would definitely recommend this to others looking to stay In Waxhaw.

Wedding

This is one of two of my favorite rentals across all platforms, perhaps my favorite! Loved the location, we were a block from the town center so you could walk to everything! Loved the peaceful park-like setting of the property, although surrounded by other properties it felt private and quiet. The screened porch was where we gravitated to relax and listen to the birds. The entire house (including the porch) was thoughtfully furnished and attention to detail did not go unnoticed (nicer hand soaps, toiletries provided, quality TP, ground coffee for the drip maker and tons of cups for the Keurig style machine, tons of thick towels, many throw blankets (two on the porch), plenty of dishware, gummy vitamins, laundry detergent), it felt like we were staying in an actual home. The beds were comfortable, memory form and on the softer side (good for our side sleepers) but not pitted, we all slept well. There was an assortment of pillows (huge plus) so we could choose what fit best for each of us (pillow thickness is a big deal for my group). The kitchen had well stocked proper cookware (not scratched teflon coated) making cooking a meal from scratch enjoyable. There is a huge TV but we never turned it on. Recap: Loved the center island in the kitchen, the primary shower, the screened porch, mattresses, pillows, location, the overall layout and how the house flowed. Great communication and easy key code entry. I would book this place again and again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Beautiful home

I can't say enough about our stay. Three minute walk to Waxhaw shops and restaurants. Host was very quick to respond to questions and the property was very comfortable. I especially enjoyed sitting on the screened in porch with my morning coffee. I can't say enough good things about my stay. I was sad to leave
