Story Time

This clean and spacious handicap accessible home is perfect for accommodating families of all sizes. With 4 bedrooms and 2 living spaces, there is plenty of room for everyone to relax! There are 3 full bathrooms to accommodate everyone’s needs for getting ready in the mornings or unwinding in the evenings. Story Time is just 15 minutes from the Fort Leonard Wood Visitors Center, making it a perfect option for visiting or a cozy place to stay with your family upon a permanent change of station!
The space
Bedroom number 1 is considered a “mother in law suite” with a wheelchair accessible entrance via a sidewalk from the driveway. It consists of a queen sized bed, a chair, and a large closet in addition to its own bathroom. This bedroom also has its own tv! The private bathroom in this room is also fully wheelchair accessible!

Bedroom number 2 has a queen sized bed in addition to a closet and a dresser. The additional closet in this bedroom is inaccessible to guests. It is connected to the “Jack and Jill” style bathroom, but the door to the bathroom features a lock on the bedroom side of the door. This bedroom has a tv as well!

Bedroom number 3 features a twin bed and a full size bed, as well as a closet.

Bedroom number 4 has a set of twin sized bunk beds and a large dresser, in addition to a closet and a tv!

This home features 3 bathrooms. The first one is in the mother in law suite, the second is a “Jack and Jill” style connected to bedroom number 2. The third full bathroom is off of the lower level family room.

We do have 2 separate living room spaces to offer our guests the utmost space to stretch out and relax. The main floor living area features a sectional and a tv. The lower level living area is also wheelchair accessible via an external door and sidewalk, and features a couch, loveseat, bar height table, television, board games and a bar top!

Our laundry room is on the lowest level as well, with a full sized washing machine and clothes dryer as well as laundry soap for our guest’s use.
