  • Located in Webster, SD and the heart of the Glacial Lakes region, The Duck House by Sportsman's Country Lodge provides an ideal location and quick access to a hunter's and fisherman's paradise. This location offers 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can comfortably sleep up to 8 guests. We offer a large driveway for off the street parking, designated fish and game cleaning area (please take scraps with you), outdoor outlet for boat charging, WiFi, and we are working on a game room.

Great Stay

Exactly what we needed for our trip, house was clean and comfortable. Check in was a breeze and communication with the host was very good. I would recommend this place for sportsman visiting the area anytime!

Property-wise, this was perfect for our fishing group. Not flashy but well equipped. Grills, full kitchen, freezer in garage, WiFi, parking options, and excellent air conditioning that is well received after at hot day of fishing! For larger groups, the only potential drawback is the single bathroom.

Fishing Trip

This property worked well for our fishing trip. It was nice to have the off street parking. We put our boat in the garage so it was easy to charge batteries and our equipment was safe.

Early spring fishing trip.

Stayed 3 nights. The front road was all torn up so it was pretty tough not tracking dirt into the house. Overall the place was nice and centered in Webster so convenient in and out. Decent parking for a boat on a trailer too.

Nice place to stay

Was very impressed with house and definitely liked having a big garage to park my boat in. We had one small issue when our ceiling fan quit working which wasn't a big deal but was pleasantly surprised when it was fixed the next day. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone.

Good Value

Good parking, place was clean and good value for the price. More of a guy's place. Suggestions: Have A/C unit repaired as it only worked the first day. Kitchen lighting was dim. Lastly, consider dumping the broken pool table and furnish with tables and chairs for bar/dining use.Will stay again.

Four old fishermen !

We were fishing the area lakes and usually stay in a local motel with kitchens. We all agreed that this was a better situation because we had more room to spread out and the breeseway with the pool table was great to leave fishing gear and not have to take it in the house! We had 2 boats and were able to back them in the garage overnight so we didn't have to cover them! Seth would always get back to us in minutes if we had questions. We would definitely use the house again if we return to the area!

Convenient and affordable place

Overall it was fine. One knock is for cleanliness as kitchen needed some more work, especially windowsills, drawers, and cabinets. Also, there was a significant amount (like 4 overflowing 30 gallon trash bins) of trash split between garage and front of house from previous guests. It was over the holidays so that may have contributed to the issue.
