Dear Amanda, I'm very happy to hear you enjoyed your stay at Auberge Thon Jaune thoroughly! Yellow Tuna is a Canada Select 5 star accommodation, located in Wedgeport – a working Acadian lobster and tuna fishing village – 500 meters from a convenience store, and less than a minute on foot from St. Michael's church, and was designed to embrace the tranquility of Chebeck Bay with extensive views of nature, as well as our village life. The moment you step into the house, or lounge on the deck or below our vineyard at water's edge, you feel transported away from it all, for ultimate relaxation. While we always strive to provide excellence, and appreciate all suggestions by our valued guests, the overall design at this Auberge called for premium black out blinds at all windows that might require a privacy screens. Windows that face our beautiful Bay views and offer complete privacy, as well as our sky lights, invite guests to immerse fully into nature, including enjoyment of our UNESCO Starlight tourist certified night skies. Even on cloudy nights, the play of moonlight and clouds passing by, can be amazingly relaxing. Black-out curtains, even if elegant, would regrettably not work with our overall theme and design. I wished you would have mentioned your displeasure with seating while at the Auberge, as I could have recommended moving from the dining room table, and instead trying out our cozy living room next to the fireplace, or the sitting area in the King bedroom. Super suggestion regarding robes: at this time we provide sparkling wine and robes with honeymoon, or premium-, and some long-stay packages. We always work very hard to provide an even higher standard of excellence, and hopefully shall be able to afford to add even more luxurious touches sometimes in the future. At this time we are doing our best to continue to provide five star comfort, cleanliness, and luxurious experience, while maintaining current rates.
