This was our second time staying here, and it truly felt like coming back to a favorite place. Everything was just as wonderful as we remembered. The house was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up for a family stay. Communication with Gary and Brenda was once again excellent before and during our visit.Even though it was much colder this year, we still had a great time. The river views were as peaceful as ever, and the fishing didn’t disappoint. We even had a huge fish right near the dock before it got away — proof that the river monsters are real! The dock was a highlight for us again, and the kids spent hours outside enjoying it.Inside, the home was cozy and welcoming, with plenty of space for our family to relax together. The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in, and we appreciated having everything we needed without having to run out. The overall setup makes it easy to truly unplug and enjoy quality time.This place continues to be one of our favorite family getaways, and we already hope to return again. Thank you for another smooth, memorable stay — we’re already looking forward to next time!

Cleanest Rental Ever!

As an owner of a Pest Control business and a frequent traveler, the cleanliness of a rental is at the top of my list of priorities. I inspect every nook and cranny (including matresses) before I ever let my family in the houses. This house was absolutely spotless! There was games set up and ready for the kids and adults too. There wasnt a single piece of furniture that wasnt extremely comfortable either! We stayed here as a last minute back up plan and it became a place we will return to often! The boat dock was great for the skis and fishing too!

Perfect fishing getaway!

Gary and Brenda were absolutely wonderful! They had great communication before, during & after our stay. House was just as and better than expectations. Very clean and nicely set up. The view of the river was beautiful and peaceful. We had plenty of room for my parents, our two kids ages 9 & 12, my husband and myself. They had a great TV set up in the Florida room where we were able to watch football all day Sunday while it was raining. There’s a bait shop within walking distance that our kids rode their scooters to and got minnows and worms for fishing. We had stopped at the Winn Dixie on the way in, and never needed to leave our whole stay. But they did have plenty of local menus available to look at if we did want to go out. House was full of games. We brought our own fishing poles and tackle. We were out fishing on the dock mostly and caught catfish, bluegills, and sunfish. Everyone caught at least 1 fish! Kitchen had a good amount of cooking supplies that were well maintained and in newish condition. Definitely one of our favorite vacations - everything went so smoothly and fostered the perfect environment for a great quality family getaway!!

Great place and location!

I visited with my 2 grandkids (14 & 16) and had a fantastic time. The house and accommodations met all of our needs. It has an excellent TV and sound system with very comfortable chairs to relax in. We all enjoyed playing pool and hanging out on the dock fishing. What really surprised us was all the deer in the area which were interesting to watch. We also brought a 21' boat with us for fishing and had fun time doing that as well. Great place and location!

Living the Dream!

Sunsets from that amazing dock never get old! Brought ebikes and boat; dock had water, electricity, supplies. Bait and gas nearby ~ hubby caught biggest bass to date! House was oh so comfortable for a long stay and hosts wonderfully responsive. Great location for nature lovers, bird watchers and bike rides through the quiet, lovely and very friendly neighborhood. Highly recommend!

Absolutely the best!

This was our second stay here (first time was with friends) we will definitely be back, the home is perfect! So clean, great location! The host are amazing! And THAT boat dock! Restaurants near by are all great with live entertainment. Even the neighbors are friendly, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Awsome place

We brought our pontoon boat, dock was perfect. The guys and kids loved fishing and catching crabs from the dock!! The lake was beautiful for our boat rides. The house was great! Plenty of games and pool table was a plus!! Very clean house and the kids loved the treats Brenda & Gary left for them!!!
