The Space:

The house features two bedrooms. The first bedroom offers a queen-size bed, while the second bedroom provides two twin beds. There is one full bathroom, complete with a bathtub and shower. The spacious living room boasts vaulted ceilings and stunning river views, complemented by a traditional gas stove fireplace for cozy evenings. The fully stocked kitchen includes a gas range and a stainless steel refrigerator. Dining options are available both indoors and outdoors, accommodating a total of four to seven guests. Throughout the house, you'll find classic, comfy furnishings and vintage charm. Guests can enjoy fast WiFi and a TV with a DVD player. Outdoor amenities include a swinging bench, a picnic table, and a covered front porch. Free parking is available for two vehicles.

🗑️ Trash: please leave all trash bags inside the unit when you check out. There are no trash cans available outside/in the back, so do not leave bags outdoors. Our cleaning team takes care of trash removal after checkout.

The Neighborhood:

Nestled in the serene Mount Hood Village, our cabin offers a tranquil escape just off Highway 26. You'll find yourself immersed in a peaceful, forested setting with the gentle sounds of the river right outside. Within minutes, you can explore local dining options, grab groceries, or tee off at the Three Nines Golf Course. Adventure awaits with Mt. Hood Skibowl and Timberline just a short 14-mile drive away, offering skiing and snowboarding in the winter. Year-round, nearby trailheads beckon with opportunities for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and bird-watching, making it an ideal location for outdoor enthusiasts.



Getting Around:

🚶 Walking — This mountain retreat is nestled in the Mt. Hood area, surrounded by nature. While not a walkable urban setting, the peaceful surroundings and outdoor recreation more than make up for it.



🚗 Driving — A car is recommended for getting around. The area is well connected via US-26. Free parking at the property.



🏔️ Recreation — Minutes from Mt. Hood ski resorts, hiking trails, and the Sandy River. The charming town of Sandy is a short drive for groceries, dining, and supplies.



✈️ Airport — PDX is approximately 60–75 minutes by car via US-26 West.

🚭 No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.



Interaction with Guests:

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
