Rustik Marsh-Side Stuga på Blackfish Creek

Denna rustika sommarstuga installerad på ett historiskt fartyg Captain's fastighet på 50-talet är det du ser på när du drömmer om en semester på Olde Cape Cod. Beläget vid slutet av en lång clam shell driveway är detta hem beläget marsh sida på Blackfish Creek. Ugglor, Hawks, Egrets och Blue Herons flödar. En av de tunnaste delarna av Kap i South Wellfleet ger dig vik och havsbris. Vi har inte luftkonditionering men vi har fläktar om det behövs. Nyrenoverat kök och badrum (2017). Ytterligare utomhusdusch för naturisten i dig och inom 1,5 kilometer från Maguire Landing Beach och bara 2 miles till både White Crest Beach och Marconi Beach. Skärmad i uteplats med matbord och stolar för 4. Cape Cod Rail Trail och Atlantic Cedar Swamp ligger tvärs över gatan. PB Boulangerie och konditori är 1 minut väg ner !! Wellfleet Cinema och Drive-In 5 minuter bort.

Beautiful Cottage
We could not have asked for more. The cottage itself is an old fashioned Cape Cod cottage with a nicely updated kitchen and bath. The location was quiet and secluded but close to beaches and restaurants. Scott was great with any questions. Really a perfect place if you are looking for relaxation, peace and quiet.

Classic Cape Cottage with Updated Kitchen and Bathroom
What a beautiful spot, nestled in the trees, overlooking Black Fish Creek. Comfortable cottage, well appointed kitchen. We really enjoyed sitting out back and watching the sunset while the birds put on a show. Loved the outdoor shower!

Still amazing
This was my second time renting this property. I wasn’t disappointed. I love the rustic feel of the house. It is so comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and had any utensil I was looking for. We used the outside gas grill a lot for several kinds of fish as well as steak. I love the backyard and marsh. Scott was so responsive and helpful. The week went by very quickly. I’d love to return.

Wonderful antique cottage
It is a joy to stay at Scott's place. The cottage has an understated, timeless quality that is rare to find. I love everything about it, from the older spring mattresses, to the defunct call bell in the main bedroom, the dowels that prop the original windows, the spare Duravit fixtures in the kitchen and bath, and a fairly well-stocked kitchen. The outdoor shower and the marsh view are also highlights.

A Wonderful Week!
This was our second stay at Captain’s Cottage. We love so much about it…The view across the marsh, spectacular sunsets, the outdoor shower, the privacy, and having almost everything we need in their well stocked kitchen. The owner lives adjacent to the cottage and is very responsive to any needs we had, both prior and during our stay. The cottage offers simplicity, aesthetics and an incredible sense of peace. Highly recommend!

Captain’s Cottage & property is a lovely & special property!
This was our first VRBO rental experience and it was great! Scott - our contact , was attentive, organized and positive. The cottage had such artistic flair and the energy all around it was wonderful! It felt like rediscovering our beloved Wellfleet of 24 Summers all anew!

Gorgeous surroundings
It was wonderful, the cottage was adorable and surrounding land gorgeous. Loved the privacy of the property. The sunsets were stunning overlooking the marsh. The landlords were very responsive. Only issue (which we knew in advance) was no air conditioning. The weather was great most of week, but the heatwave the last two days was intense and challenging for sleep. We asked for an extra fan which they brought immediately and helped. Ceiling fans would make a huge difference if possible. However, most nights were very comfortable. The screened in porch was wonderful! Look forward to staying there again. Thanks

A Wonderful Week
Had a fabulous week at the Captain's Cottage. The cottage is charming and comfortable. Loved dining in the screened porch. The living room is a nice space. The views from the master bedroom are amazing. I loved waking up to all the different birdsongs. The backyard and marsh offer great views of the sunset. I am already missing the outdoor shower! The kitchen is well equipped. The house is fairly close to Route 6 but street noise was not a problem. I loved the privacy and seclusion. This is a slice of heaven! Oh and last but not least, Scott was a fabulous host! I was sad to leave and plan to return next year.
