To the right of the hallway is a dual aspect open-plan living space where cooking, dining and relaxing areas work perfectly in harmony to create a sociable environment where everyone can gather together to plan the day ahead and, as the day winds down, enjoy sharing thoughts and memories of the day's activities. When it's time to explore the town, a short walk takes you to a multitude of independent shops, cafes and some great gastro pubs that populate the maze of narrow streets, old alleys and yards. The town's beautiful sandy beach, with its pine trees, sand dunes and colourful beach huts can be reached by either a pleasant fifteen to twenty minute walk, a short drive or bike ride. Join the coastal path for a bracing walk to Stiffkey and beyond in an easterly direction or follow the path that runs behind the pine trees that line the beach and leads to stunning Holkham Bay. Definitely try crabbing from the Quay and try and make time to visit The Maltings arts centre (see below), which hosts a gallery, theatre, cinema, museum about the history of Wells as well as a popular coffee stop destination.
