Quiet Private Cabin in the woods near fishing, hiking, skiing,ORV,snow trails

Updated 3 bed 2 bath cabin. Really a home but is a cabin for me. Great area nestled right in the Manistee forest but close to everything. Trail system right down the road, tippy dam and Caberfae both less than 13 minutes away. Manistee is 18 miles to the west and Cadillac just a little father to the East. Close to all the rivers and hot spots around these great area.

Cabin has blackout curtains, completely updated, nest thermostats, air conditioning and starlink internet which is rare in this area and the fastest around here. Located in the Manistee Forest near prime fishing, hunting and trails. The cabin is nestled amongst trees, providing a serene and secluded atmosphere. Inside, you will find a cozy living room with a wood pellet stove, perfect for warming up after a day of outdoor activities. The fully equipped kitchen offers all the amenities you need to prepare delicious meals. Upstairs, the bedrooms are tastefully decorated and offer comfortable beds for a restful night's sleep. The surrounding area is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, with endless opportunities for fishing, hunting, and exploring the scenic trails. Whether you're seeking adventure or simply looking to relax in nature, this cabin is the perfect getaway.

Garage is not available as we keep our personal items there. Pole barn is available for an additional fee if required but will remain locked unless previously arranged. Per VRBO policy we disclose our exterior cameras only (nothing inside ). IT is a rental in a rural area so we have cameras outside for security when not there. We have 1 in the back yard, 1 facing driveway, 1 facing front of driveway in front of garage and 1 facing the garage and barn (4 outside cameras only). Thank you . Mybson I stayed here to do some salmon fishing. We choose this house because the close proximity to Tippy dam and other locations along the river. Great house, host was responsive, everything was as expected.

Overall wonderful stay at this updated cabin and just as described. Living room chairs and couch were super comfy for gathering with friends, beds/pillows were comfortable and setting was beautiful. Property owners were very responsive and easy to work with.

We (2 families with kids) recently stayed at the this cabin and had a fantastic time. The cabin was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen has all the set up with all necessary utensils. The cabin had a warm, inviting atmosphere, perfect for a tranquilizing getaway. The quite environment and outside nature was very relaxing. The cabin is located near to all major tourist attractions, hiking trails. Tammy is a great host. She was very helpful on suggesting few places. We covered few places which were very beautiful. Also she was very quick in replying all the queries we have. Overall, we would definitely recommend this cabin for a family vacation and would consider staying here again in future..

Our adventure in Wellston

The cabin was absolutely the perfect size for three couples and two dogs. Having two bathrooms and three bedrooms and adequately sized beds for large humans was the perfect atmosphere for our family getaway. As advertised, we did a canoe adventure on the Pine River and our son fly fish the Manistee river while we took in nature. Just a short drive to either Cadillac or Manistee if we needed something was excellent.

Manistee National Forest

This was our second year in a row staying at the cabin, and it continues to be a peaceful, comfortable retreat. It’s very sturdily built and incredibly quiet -- perfect for unwinding after a day outdoors. We've stayed during the heat of summer both times, and the home has handled it well: individual AC units upstairs and central air throughout keep things cool and comfortable. Blackout curtains and calming lighting add to the relaxed evening atmosphere.The cabin is well-equipped with everything you’d need... plenty of cookware, pots and pans, and comfortable foam mattresses. For us, the biggest draw is its proximity to the Big M trail system. You can actually ride from the cabin to Big M, making it an ideal spot for mountain bikers or anyone looking to explore the Manistee National Forest. The surrounding natural beauty is hard to beat, and the location makes it easy to soak it all in.The hosts are great communicators and have been extra accommodating, going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. We really appreciate their attentiveness and look forward to staying here again in the future.

Quiet & Relaxing

We had a great stay! The house had everything you could need. We only ate out once the whole week because the kitchen was well equipped. The property was quiet and secluded but it was a quick drive to Manistee. Wish we could’ve stayed another week.

Awesome Cabin- Convenient Location

Super cozy and updated cabin with everything you need! Loved the quiet wooded setting and the deck was perfect for enjoying the morning sun. The cabin has 3 nice bedrooms all with their own TV, and 2 updated bathrooms. Great location—close to all the local attractions. The host was quick to respond and super helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

Nice and clean. All the necessities you will need. Good communication very helpful and flexible. I was there for a fly fishing trip and that was cancelled. Host rebook me with no problem. I would definitely stay again

Wellston cabin

This is a beautiful cabin and is in a great location for our family fishing trip. Check in/checkout was very easy. Host was good to work with and was very helpful with recommendations for the area. Would highly recommend this cabin and will try to book again in the future.
