“This hotel everything I needed as a solo male traveler. It had a frig, a microwave, free gated parking, decent internet, an outside pool and a free breakfast at a really low rate. After all the taxes and surcharges I think I only paid $95 so it was very affordable. The location is not great as it’s maybe a mile from the busier parts of downtown and yes I did see some homeless people in the area but it worked well for me.

“New hotel with confortable room, friendly staff, tasty breakfast. In connection with Salt Palace where conferences take place. Close to local transport such as the train TRAX - only 25 min from the airport, but faraway from the ski resorts. Although if you plan your trip early you can get to Alta for ex in about 1.5 hour with the Trax blue line with change at Historic Sandy for the skibuss.
The only minus was that the room-service managed to mix up my pyjamas with the bed laundry and send it...
“Receptionisten låg i en soffa vid receptionen när vi kom för att checka in. Rummet var stort och rent. Gammaldags möbler, men de var inte direkt slitna. Vi fick två rumsalternativ att välja mellan. Kaffebryggare i badrummet!!! Vi lyckades aldrig få något varmvatten. Lysröret vid garderobsdelen, lyste mycket svagt. Ganska tyst och trevligt område. Stor parkering. Hiss finns.”

“The complimentary breakfast was very good indeed, one of the best I've enjoyed. The only problem was the shuttle service, it arrived 40 minutes late. The hotel staff person tried to get a good answer from the shuttle service, tried hard, got nowhere. If I'd been on a tight schedule it would have caused problems, but I'd (always) allowed extra time. The bed was extremely comfortable, great shower, very happy with my stay.”
