“Beautiful stay, lovely food , breakfast was great”

“The hotel looked nicer in the pictures than it was in reality. Very small and worn rooms, which were damp and uncomfortable. The room was very sensitively. No paintings or any color. The bathroom was disgusting with a toilet seat that didn't fit the toilet seat. Very cramped bathroom with an old and worn shower. The double bed was only 140 cm wide. Too narrow for two persons. “The stork hotel/pub was perfect for our first trip away with our puppy. The staff were friendly and welcoming the meals in the evening were lovely. The only complaint we have was breakfast took over an hr to arrive after we mentioned to them we were still waiting for it & a waitress apologised claiming that it was all her fault. When it did arrive the sausages were dried up the bacon was overdone & the fried eggs were hard. Apart from that everything else was great.”

“This was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. The look of the Ribchester Arms, when we arrived, was impressive. We had a very large room and bathroom, both very modern with a 'fridge and juices, milk, drinks and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and pretty good. We ate there a couple of nights and the food was wonderful. A recommended place to stay .”

“We were given a room in the courtyard area no43, It was small for 2 people It smelled musty and damp The wallpaper on the outside wall was blistered.One end of the radiator, the thermostat end, was tied to the wall with a plastic tie wrap.The window was to high to reach to open There is no lift in the main part of the house or the Courtyard rooms.No43 is on the ground floor”

“You sort of know what to expect and that is what you get- nothing more, nothing less. With easy access located in an industrial area but in a relatively quiet green corner. Pet friendly so our and other dogs enjoyed despite limited opportunities for long good walks. Free parking. Very comfortable beds and ok breakfast. Great for a stop over.”

“From the moment we arrived till we checked out this hotel delivered. Lovely welcome on arrival, spacious clean room. Comfortable bed, handy fridge, sofa. Delicious buffet breakfast. My preferred eggs were not in the buffet but asked and they were provided no problem. Evening meal was delicious too. Waiting staff very pleasant and helpful. Spa facilities were great.
