“OMG this place is so amazing. Five star all the way. We stayed in Lemur room 2 and they hung out mostly on our side. Food was out of this world. Staff are so accommodating and friendly. The zoo is amazing and the tour in the morning was so good. The young man was so great and I cannot explain how beautiful this was. I would love to go back again. xxxx”

“Always a great stay at The Statesman. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Shame restaurant and bar wasn’t open but closed for holidays. Easy parking and good location. Will stay again. ”

“Spacious with a very nice location and great view of the lake. It's missing key kitchen items like drinking glasses, salt and pepper, cooking oil and cleaning supplies that would have made our stay more comfortable. Could have used a few extra towels and maybe some blackout blinds for the rooms that get a lot of light due to the nice large windows that walk out to the balconies. Overall a really good stay for a large group. The host was great with check-in times and communication.”

“This house was the perfect size for our family get together In Canberra. Beds were on the too soft side but we all slept well. Someone living in the bungalow out the back was a little awkward and the grass and garden needs work. Also the cookware and cutlery needs updating. We did have a fantastic time catching up in this lovely house.”
