“Alabaster Box certainly is doing something right! Besides the home being immaculately kept, the service is top notch. Upon entering my room I was met with the most beautiful scent of sandalwood. A small fridge, and kettle were available for my snacks and tea. The shower was absolutely amazing, and much needed after a long car ride! The balcony even had views of the lagoon. “We loved this place! The ocean view from our room was spectacular. We checked out a few other places in town that are more expensive and the view from the Linhof is the best! Breakfast was excellent. Shirley, the manager who runs this place, merits special mention. She helped us get our bags upstairs, served us our breakfast and always had a smile and a kind word. We will definitely return.”

“We arrived late at the property after a 6 hour drive, the owner refused to open the door, told us she had no booking, despite us having booked and paid through expedia. We were turned away with no where to stay at night with no phone data to find another place to stay. A terrible experience. The place appears very much to just be the owners house rather than a proper guest house. ”
