“What a gorgeous property and very pleasant stay! Thank you to the entire team for the immaculate, unique setting. We felt welcomed the moment we arrived, enjoyed the sunrise from the huge windows overlooking the water, and the delicious continental breakfast. The location overlooks a lovely beach and walking path and we enjoyed the serenity and delicious dining in South Portland as well as the convenience to Old Port. We would definitely return and have mentioned the inn to friends. Thanks...

“From a leaking refrigerator that they were notified of but never came to look at or try to fix over a 2 day stay, to a "continental" breakfast that was a bagel, a boiled egg and a box of cereal and NO coffee. When we notified them there was no coffee, the response was.. oh, ok. and that was that. The final straw, the absolute zero level of control the staff has on the pool. A huge group of kids were chaotic, overwhelming, and very out of line taking the entire pool as their own party...

“My wife and I have been staying here on a yearly basis for many years. We enjoy the quiet, clean rooms, comfortable beds, continental breakfast, locality and the price. One year we had stayed somewhere else in the Brunswick area, because the Traveler's Inn was fully booked, and we were not happy at all. That's why we always comeback to the Traveler's Inn.”

“Everything was perfect! The innkeepers are lovely and very welcoming. Our room was beautiful, with a great soaking tub. We were welcomed back in the evening after dinner out with ice water and cute little blueberry chocolates. The breakfast was amazing! Served in a beautiful dining room on lovely china. We chose omelets, ham and fresh fruit, which my husband loved. We very highly recommend this little gem in the great town of Bath. Cannot wait to return! ”

“April 2026, the Comfort Inn is open but is undergoing full renovations. This was not mentioned when we made our reservations. If you have allergies you, or low tolerance of, construction dust, choose another location. We had a newly renovated room, which was spotless and very comfortable. The staff were polite and efficient, and breakfast at 6am has always been good. We’ve stayed here multiple times over the last 10+ years. Giving full stars because the renovations will end soon.”
