KORT BESKRIVNING: Elk Crossing är ett utmärkt basläger för att utforska Yellowstone-området. Det är bara 8 miles till parken ingången, är omgiven av nationella skogsspår för vandring, mountainbike och sn�����skoter, och det är en kort bilresa till en lugn vik på Hebgen Lake. Med 1700 kvadratmeter boyta och en öppen planlösning till köket, matplatsen och det stora rummet är det ett mycket bekvämt hem för din grupp. Det finns ett bifogat två bil garage för gästanvändning.

SOVRUM OCH BADAR: Hemmet har tre sovrum och två badrum. Befälhavaren har en king size-säng, utsikt mot bergen, din egen dörr till däck, och ett fantastiskt m��starbad med en promenad i regnskog och en stor jetted badkar. I andra änden av huset finns ytterligare två sovrum, ett med en drottning och det andra med två enkels���ngar. De delar ett badrum med badkar och dusch.


KÖK: Det här är ett utmärkt kök för en grupp som öppnar till baren, matsalen och vardagsrummet. Den är utrustad med allting du behöver laga och underhålla, inklusive ett smidigt toppriktat elektriskt sortiment, massor av serveringsdelar och picknickvaror och små apparater som en crockkruka, elektrisk mixer och mixer.

Det ligger på en halv hektar och har enastående utsikt över Lionhead Mountain och andra toppar l��ngs Continental Divide. Du kommer sannolikt att se älg, älg och kanske även en björn i detta vackra vilda omr��de!


UTOMHUSMEDEL: Den stora bakdäcken är perfekt för morgonkaffe och till middag med solnedgång över bergen. Det finns två schäslongar där när du bara vill göra ingenting. För snowmobilers finns det ett två bil garage för parkering av dina riggar.


AKTIVITETER NÄRHET: På vintern kan du snöskoter direkt fr��n huset och komma på hundratals miles av preparerade snöskoter. Om du föredrar nordisk skidåkning, ligger West Yellowstone Rendezvous Trails en kort bilresa bort, och du kan utforska Yellowstone Park med snöbuss. På sommaren finns vandring och mountainbike rätt ut genom dörren, fiske p�� bl�� bandströmmar, båtliv på Hebgen Lake, och naturligtvis - dagsutflykter till Yellowstone Park. Det finns så mycket att g��ra!

Spacious yet homey family Montana getaway with beautiful views and location

My husband, 3 boys and dogs had a wondeful stay here! The ranch, complete with garage was SO easy to unload our gear and let the dogs out. It was the last stop at the end of our 5 thousand mile journey, and it was perfect. The home had wonderful wood detailing, a lodgey feel and beautiful kitchen. It was a bit dated, but that didn't impact anything. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the back deck was perfect to enjoy mountain views and the wildflower "river" around the house. It was close to West Yellowstone and the West Yellowstone National Park entrnace, without being inside all the congestion and population. It also had a great rodeo just down the road and close to Lake Hebgen as well. The beds could be more comfortable, but that was our only negative. The check in was easy, everything was as advertised and the owner/management company was great to work with. Highly recommend!

The property is located in quiet neighborhood, conveinent to West Yellowstone and the entrance into Yellowstone National Park. The house was clean and well equipped. It even came with a Moose and her new born calf in the backyard one morning. We highly recommend this property for your base into Yellowstone and surrounding area.

Beautiful home

This home was gorgeous and the perfect fit for our family of four. Stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful views and nice neighborhood. Far enough away from the crowds in west Yellowstone but close enough to drive in to town or to the park and enjoy.

Yellowstone on Friends bucket list

Very easy to drive to the park from this location. House open with lots of light and good separation of bedrooms for two couples. Wish the arrival time was 4:00 p.m. instead of 5:00 p.m. instead of 5:00 p.m.

Montana getaway close to the National Parks

The house was like home (the beds were so comfortable!) and had everything we needed. The location was great. Close enough to the parks without being crowded or touristy. Check out the view of the stars! There was also National Forest trails and fishing everywhere nearby. We went to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons and saw bears, elk, bison, eagles, and other animals, as well as amazing geological features.

Everything we needed

This hosts provided everything we needed to enjoy our stay in the Yellowstone area. The kitchen was well-equipped allowing us to cook most meals at home and they even thought to provide bear spray and bug spray! The furniture was very comfortable for lounging after a long day exploring the area. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

No A/C and needs new beds

It was not clear that the house did not have A/C. When we arrived to check in, the house was a steaming 80 degrees. All the blinds were open allowing direct sunlight making it feel even hotter. We immediately opened all the windows but it did not cool until 12:00-1:00 am. Cooking dinner was miserable. We reached out to the property management team who said there was a compressor on property but it wasn’t connected. We then asked if there were any fans to help with the heat. We only found one in a spare bedroom. We never heard back from the management team. The twin beds in the spare bedroom were awful. Absolutely no support and need replaced. For the amount we paid to rent this property, the lack of A/C and old beds was extremely disappointing. The property was clean and had sufficient kitchen equipment but the nonstick pans could also be updated. Overall it was an average stay. Being hot makes for an uncomfortable stay. I understand it’s Montana but the time we visited the temps climbed to the 90’s.

Mountain home

The property was nice, it stated in book no air conditioning but we did not need it during this stay. Lighting above table dusty but otherwise clean. Windows in living are cathedral high so sun would be in your eyes while sitting on couch. It was very close to Yellowstone and convenient, great little town restaurants and shops.

Beautiful House

The house was beautiful. One of the best things was that we could use the garage. It snowed over 18” while we were there - the snowblower was wonderful as well. If we head back that way we will stay there again if available.

Great property with easy access to Yellowstone National Park

This property met or exceeded our expectations. The main room had comfortable furniture and a large dining table. There was also a large screen TV for those who like watching television. The internet access worked well, too. The kitchen was large and well appointed with more than enough dishes, glasses, and cookware. The appliances all worked. The washer and dryer along with laundry detergent was appreciated. The bedrooms had comfortable beds and pillows and extra blankets and pillows were stored in the closet. It was easy to access the house through a key pad. The house and garage were both clean and tidy. There was also a back porch with a table and chairs which we enjoyed. This property was in a quiet neighborhood and was perfect for our vacation. I would definitely book this property again if I was staying in the area.

Great home base for Yellowstone

Nice location, about 12 minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone. We loved the proximity but also that it’s outside of the hustle & bustle of the West Yellowstone town. I was very impressed at how well stocked the house was. I appreciated all the kitchen supplies and they even had a cooler and backpacks that came in handy for our daily trips into the park. They also had bug spray and sunscreen, although we had our own. They had bear spray too. The set-up was perfect for our family of 5. The only improvement I could suggest is different window treatments on the upper windows in the living area. Our visit was in the summer and the sun shining in was blinding to anyone sitting on the couch for a few hours each evening. We also visited the West Yellowstone Rodeo during our stay, about a mile away from the house. Our kids loved it, very authentic!

Very accommodating

We have rented many cabins and this is our favorite! It is so cozy! The owner has been very accommodating and kind. We are so appreciative for all of the conveniences in the house for us. Everything we have needed and more! It is just a short trip in to West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park. We are in love with this area. Such a beautiful setting for a cabin. It has been a beautiful stay!

Great House and Location

We are in W Yellowstone for the annual XCountry Ski Festival. Snow was great this year. The house is comfortable and well located. Amenities are nice. Only complain - zero Kleenex. Only issue we had, and it was my lack of imagination - is in the master shower you need to pull the handle out to start the water. Lesson learned for me. Great house and we will likely seek to stay here next year.
