âThe room was great and felt luxurios. A bit strange that it didn't have a door to the bathroom. A little balcony with ocean view. Comfortable beds. We were there for one night and left at 5.30 for a flight, and they made us breakfast packs without needing to ask them. The location feels safe. The restaurants are an 8 minute walk along the beachside by some luxurios villas. Beach is 30 metres away from the house.â

We stayed for 6 days. So sad to leave.
Sandy looked after us and nothing was too much trouble.
Our spacious room opened onto a terrace overlooking a beautiful pool and garden area.
A great breakfast. Staff were excellent always smiling, in a great leafy quiet residential area and only a 5 minute walk to many shops and restaurants.
We will be back when we return to South Africa â
âNice, friendly staff. Very, very nice room with ultra large balcony/terrace. Pool fabulous. Breakfast room and lounge had unfortunately the atmosphere of a funeral parlour and had very uncomfortable (but nice looking) chairs. Would come back though. For the room, pool and terrace. And for the service!
At safe walking distance to Umhlanga Village with lots of restaurants and close to the beach promenade.â

âWe had a lovely couple of nights stay. Itâs a great location for visiting Umhlanga, everyone was lovely and the accommodation was extremely comfortable with a lovely lounge at the top of the property, with a great view of the sea. Highly recommend and will stay again when next visitingâ
âWe especially liked the friendliness of the staff,the wonderful quiet garden and the breakfast.
Unluckily our whirlpool did not work and we missed a brush to clean the toilet.
But these 2 little mistakes do not bother our great experience with u Shaka manor.â
