Located on the outskirts of Osmington, close to Ringstead Bay, the seaside resort of Weymouth and within easy reach of Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove. Grove Lodge offers generous accommodation for nine guests in the main house, and a further two in a self-contained annexe.
As you enter the house you will find a porch area with shoe bench, leading through to the central corridor, off which you will find the impressive double-aspect sitting room with its feature stone fireplace, wood burning stove, large Smart television and plenty of seating. A separate snug offers opportunities for quiet relaxation with a good book and there is a combined cloakroom/shower room which sits opposite. Also on the ground floor you will find the family dining room, with its large table and chairs seating up to twelve guests and double french doors which showcase the beautiful front-facing views. The kitchen is well-equipped with plenty of storage space and includes a cosy breakfast area with table and four chairs, ideal for early risers to enjoy a quiet coffee before the day commences.
On the first floor you will find the five attractive bedrooms including a king size with en-suite bathroom, a double bedroom, a king-size bedroom, a twin bedroom and finally a single bedroom with pull-out trundle bed underneath. The family bathroom with separate shower, completes the accommodation in the main house.
From the kitchen, the back door of the house takes you out to the front door of the separate self-contained annexe, where you will find a full kitchen with breakfast bar and stools, a large super-king-size bedroom with sofa and television, with an en-suite shower room. The annexe is the perfect addition to the accommodation in the main house, and its all-ground floor accommodation is ideal for multi-generational families and friends to spread out.
The garden space with its mature planting sits at the front of the house and includes a large paved terrace with garden furniture, ideal for enjoying alfresco dining whilst admiring the great views. Steps lead down to a sheltered lawned area which provides a nice spot for playing games or perhaps some sunbathing.
Grove Lodge is a truly impressive holiday home, offering plenty of space and great flexibility, its location is ideal for enjoying the delights of the stunning Jurassic Coast which is just a good walk or short drive away.
