Disappointing Stay – Overpriced, Noisy, and Uncomfortable, and it was one of the worst lodging experiences I’ve ever had. It felt like a run-down motel with luxury-level pricing.
If they charged budget-hotel rates, maybe this would be acceptable, but at this price point, to pay for service fees/cleaning fee, and parking it was a complete ripoff.
The place was smelly and completely unwelcoming. The hallways had a terrible odor, and unfortunately, it only got worse inside the room. The carpet smelled bad, the sofa bed was stinky and squeaky, and even the pillow and extra blanket in the main bedroom had an unbearable odor. Everything was outdated, poorly maintained, and just unpleasant.
On top of that, the thin walls made it incredibly noisy, and getting a decent night's sleep was impossible. Between the loud surroundings and the uncomfortable, squeaky sofa bed, we could barely rest. The whole environment felt so unwelcoming and unpleasant that we didn’t even stay for our second night—we left early.
We stay at Whistler every year, but I will never stay at this building/property.
