Antonis welcomed us warmly and showed us to our room, which was beautifully equipped and had an impressive balcony overlooking the Libyan Sea. The food at Calypso is freshly prepared and very tasty, with its emphasis on Cretan cuisine.

âIf you want to relax and get away from the crowded commercial areas, this Is the perfect place. We stayed in the purple villa and had a lot of space between the three of us. The views are spectacular and you can see all down to the beach and up to the mountains. The people managing the villas are very kind and helpful and are happy to answer any question. âPerhaps the most beautiful place Iâve ever stayed. The views were breathtaking and location was perfectâ close to Sougia and Samaria Gorge where we had a beautiful day of hiking. Very romantic for our honeymoon and the staff were beyond kind, generous, and helpful. It was a perfect stay with so much beauty that we will never forget! Highly recommended!!â
âWe had a phenomenal stay here. Complete luxury. Beautiful private rooms, with amazing terrace area with private pool. Food served to your room was fantastic quality. The staff could not do more for you, we were even brought complimentary wine to our room when our evening meal took slightly longer than expected.
