CJ's Cabin, just minutes from Lake Superior & the Porcupine Mountains.

Looking for the perfect base camp to explore the UP, hike the Porkies, hunt agates on the beach or just relax? This White Pine company house has been remodeled with raised ceilings and wood paneling for the rustic, cozy feel of a cabin retreat. The master sleeps two, small bedroom sleeps one and the foldout sofa in the living room sleeps two. It's just minutes from the Konteka Black Bear Lounge, a few miles from the beach and a short drive will take you on beautiful adventures hiking or biking the Porcupine Mountains. If you want to Netflix and chill or game after exploring the area, we have 300 Mbps Internet and most streaming services. In the winter, the driveway will be plowed to allow room for up to two vehicles and a snowmobile trailer.

Our mission is to provide you with the cleanest, coziest place to relax - a place that feels more like a home away from home than a rental. You don't have to worry about bringing your own coffee, tea, toilet paper, shampoo, dish soap, dishwasher detergent or bath products, all the bedding and towels are new and we pride ourselves on fast communication to help you with whatever you need.

And as a unique benefit to CJ's cabin, we offer you access to a private beach on Lake Superior (about 10 minutes from the house) in the summer for agate hunting, swimming or just enjoying the sunset and Northern Lights. *Access to the private beach is not guaranteed for bookings in the summer/fall of 2024 as there may be construction there depending on the time of your stay. The driveway to the beach lot will not be plowed in the winter.

Lovely, immaculate well appointed cabin w awesome host
CJ’s cabin is a treasure. Located in an older section of a small town, it is a surprise and a delight. Cozy, comfy, fully stocked home away from home-but cleaner! The host is hands down the best vrbo host I’ve ever experienced. Outstanding communication, friendly, does everything he can to make your stay perfect.

CJ's cabin is nestled in the Quiet town of White Pine, Michigan. We thoroughly enjoy our stay. This is the second time we have stayed at CJ's. And will no doubt stay again. All the bedding is so comfortable. The living room is just as cozy and comfortable as you'd ever want. CJ is very accommodating. I needed a crock pot and when I got there, he had one waiting for me. The washing machine and dryer is very nice and clean and nice to have there if needed. We highly recommend! And our dogs are not nervous there and they love it too!

The minute we walked into CJ's Cabin we had a cozy warm feeling. It was very clean. I really liked his lamps. Oh and the master bedroom bed, what a nice surprise to find out it vibrates.. The washer and dryer was a nice convenience as well. CJ is such a nice host with the extra special gift, he lets you go to his beach front right on Lake Superior shore! I highly recommend staying here. We felt welcome and his cabin is more of a home.. Thank you!

Amazing host and house!
CJ was phenomenal, the communication was excellent and the house was spotless. CJ knew I was traveling with my little one so he messaged me the day of check in to inform me he had put cabinet locks and outlet covers in the house. This was something he didn’t have to do, but was very appreciated. The private beach was great for rock hunting and the location is perfect! Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home and for the welcome basket. Five + stars!!

What a wonderful place!
This was the most hospitable VRBO I've ever stayed at. Many are described as "properties" but this one felt like someone's home. While the outside was unassuming, the inside was nicely remodeled. It was light and bright. CJ thinks of everything you might need while away from home. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking. There were plenty of various staples. The appliances were modern and spotless. The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom had a multitude of shampoos and soaps, all fun to try. The washer and dryer were functional. The location is perfect for a visit to the Porkies. The entrance to the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness Park is just a short drive north from CJ's place. My T-Mobile cell service was spotty. this carrier allows Wi-Fi calling, which solved the problem as the place has Wi-Fi. There's a nice multi-page booklet with all the house instructions plus a lot of local information. I would definitely return.

Great cabin located close to Porcupine Mountains!
We had a great stay at the cabin. It has been updated recently, was super clean and is probably one of the most well appointed VRBO properties I’ve stayed in. Everything you might need was provided as well as great tips for dining and local activities. Communication with the owner was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful space to come back home to.
