“I loved that it offered a living area separate than the bedroom - providing two TV's. Bathroom was a bit small, but accessible. Friendly staff. They even let us do an early check-in... about an hour early. :) They are located right off the beach, and a shopping area within walking distance. They have a restaurant inside, provided for dinner; free breakfast, and bar for after hours. Clean, modest, and definitely recommend.”

“Beautiful hotel at the outskirts of St. Joseph. Great restaurant, parking, pools and even anchor place for boats arriving for dinner. Modern and well equipped rooms, one of the nicest stays we ever had. Terrific place. This was our second time here and we'd come again.”

“Tv not working got a new one but then the cable would keep going out. It's pet friendly but they don't have any place to take your animal to the bathroom. The up side was the staff was really nice and helpful.”

“A good hotel, a bit off from 'downtown' St Joseph, but with a car everything is possible. Good wifi, decent breakfast. Loved the pancake machine! We also very much appreciated the washer&dryer onsite - very convenient. There is also a gym which my husband used, but I wanted to run outside (a bit hot). If only the city could fix a footpath/sidewalk from the hotel to the bridge (about 1/4 mile), access would have been perfect. The nice restaurant next door and the beautiful sunset over Lake...

“The room was big and clean. The hallways weren't as clean as the room. The breakfast was good! Our only issue was everytime we came or left there were workers at the doorways smoking and we are both very sensitive to cigarette smoke. We could also smell it in the hallways since they were smoking so close to the doors. We know this is a dedicated smoking area so a suggestion would be to move the smoking area away from the hotel so guests don't have to walk through smoke.”

“Pros: breakfast was good, hot tub was nice and hot, bed was comfy. Cons: the area around the hotel is pretty sketchy and trashy, homeless camped out back, pool was ice cold and way way smaller than what it appeared in the picture. Lamp shade and curtains had mold from the ac unit. I would not stay at this location again.”

“Hotel advertised as a hotel with continental breakfast. Only has coffee and juice Room was clean but need major updates on property. Our room by windows floor was cracking and dent on floor. Other was good for sleeping hotel”

“Room was quiet, bed was comfortable, check in was quick. There was a hole in the ceiling above the shower like something was falling through from up above, but the price reflected imperfection, and that was the only imperfection I noticed. I’d stay there again. It was good for the price.”

“Very drama free stay, near lots of food options and the highway, no complaints. I had a wifi issue that was on my end, but the front desk was very helpful in their attempts to resolve it.”

“We had planned to stay here just one night while passing by, but when we arrived we felt so uncomfortable that we actually looked up another hotel to stay at. Our stay at this hotel was not refundable, but despite this we decided to stay at another hotel because we did not feel safe staying at the red roof inn”

“The staff was great, the only thing that could be better is the pool area. The pool room is tiny, not much seating and no hot tub. The pool temp was perfect. Even with that being said, we will be coming back for sure!”
