From the moment we drove up, I knew we would love it. Three deer in the yard, a pond, beautiful yard with flowers and fruit trees and 1000's of acres of forest land behind it. You really feel like you are living the Montana life style and you are and not just in a condo or apartment that could be anywhere. The wildlife and especially the birds were awesome. Never saw a bear, but bear spray was provided just in case.
The home is fully stocked with everything you could want and then some. The kitchen is definitely stocked with all of the spices and condiments you would ever need. I would advise you not to go grocery shopping until you see what is already there for you to use. Everything you need whether you are cooking a gourmet meal or a simple barbecue is all there.
The beds are warm and cozy, but a bit on the soft side, but then that is a comment from someone with a bad back. The home has been updated to provide the most in comfort with new windows, new bathrooms, comfortable heating system and fresh flooring and pain throughout.
The showers, with their massage & steam features were awesome once we figured out how to use them. I suggest you read the front of the manual to get the most from them.. The luxurious bath towels were a nice feature as well.
Much of Glacier National Park was closed while we were here due to the previous forest fires, so we explored some of the beautiful mountain lakes in the area and had some wonderful hikes. All in all, it was a wonderful Montana experience and I would love to do it again with the park open and more time to spend. Mahalo to the Sayres for sharing their Montana home. Virginia and Tim were wonderful as well in showing us the home and the features and how to work everything. Mahalo to you all!
