Furlong Place is a three bedroom, family-friendly, centrally located holiday home in Whitstable.

Furlong Place offers a perfect retreat for couples, friends, and families seeking to create wonderful seaside memories. The sunny garden is ideally set up for enjoying the summer months, featuring a dining table, comfortable chairs, and a lovely lawned area perfect for relaxing.

You check in using a key box code. I am however local to the area, so if you need anything or have any questions, I am only a phone call away and a short drive!

Nestled in a quiet residential street within the conservation area of Whitstable, this property offers a peaceful retreat. Whitstable's thriving High Street boasts an array of independent boutiques and eateries, offering a diverse selection of cuisines, traditional pubs, and microbreweries serving local craft beers. Alternatively, you can enjoy a cold glass of wine while watching the sunset on the beach, just a four-minute stroll away. Whitstable's working harbour is just an eight-minute walk away, offering the perfect opportunity to sample the fresh catch of the day. For active guests, Whitstable offers water sports and tennis courts within a ten-minute walk, as well as golf courses in the surrounding area. Additionally, you'll find family bowling and public swimming baths conveniently located by the harbour.

You have access to all areas in the property except for 1 small cupboard in the front double bedroom.

Curl up in the window seat with a captivating book or unwind in the evening with an enjoyable film. The lounge flows through to an open-plan kitchen and dining room, featuring a table comfortably seating six and a cosy sofa chair seating two. This inviting space is perfect for family and friends to gather and chat while preparing meals. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything you might need, including a dishwasher and a washing machine; a definite bonus for families with young children. At the rear of the house, you'll find a modern, newly refurbished bathroom featuring a walk-in shower, toilet and basin. The good-sized garden is perfect for al fresco dining and also includes children's outdoor toys, foldaway chairs, a parasol, and a portable barbecue and everything you need for a fun-filled day at Whitstable's beach!

The first floor offers three comfortable, bright, and airy bedrooms: two double bedrooms, one of which has a third bedroom leading off it featuring full-sized children's bunk beds. Ample storage is provided, and all rooms are comfortably and tastefully furnished.

For families with young children, the property provides a high chair, travel cot, baby bath, bottom stair gate, and a delightful selection of toys, board games, and books, ensuring a comfortable and entertaining stay.

PLEASE NOTE: Please note that the stairs in this property are steep, a common characteristic of similar period homes in Whitstable.

There is free on-street parking on the road and surrounding roads. The nearest paid parking is
Victoria Street car park. You can view the charges on the Canterbury City Council website. Parking
can be limited in the high season but once you have parked up, you are close enough to walk into
town, beach, shops etc.
You can also visit the Just Park website to find out where to park in Whitstable.

There are frequent buses running from Whitstable to Herne Bay and Canterbury. You will find bus
stops along Harbour Street, High Street, Oxford Street etc.
The trains from Whitstable station will take you to Ramsgate or further afield to London. Whitstable
Train Station is about a 10-minute walk to the town centre and the property.
There are also Taxi services available for short fares or airport runs. The nearest airport is in London
and the Ferry port is in Dover.
