    Stugan ligger på toppen av berget på grusvägen. !!!!!!! 4x4 rekommenderas starkt !!!!! Om det snö-4x4, kedjor krävs för att komma upp till berget för att njuta av värmen i stugan och 270deg utsikt. Kom bara ihåg att det kallas "HEAVENS PEAK" av en anledning. Svårt att komma till men väl värt det.

    Medan vi försöker tillgodose alla förfrågningar, erbjuder vi inte sen utcheckning eller tidig incheckning. Vi behöver så mycket tid som möjligt för att hålla saker rena och städade för våra gäster.

Wonderful, clean cabin. Beautiful views, secluded. Steep mountain road to access agree with recommendation of 4x4 capable vehicle. Would absolutely stay again.

This place is great! Let's start with the host, he is quick to respond to questions. He even let us check in a little early.Alot of other reviews made the drive up the mountain sound terrifying. It's 15 minutes at 10 mph. 2 or 3 straight aways are fairly steep with maybe 4 sharp switchbacks. I saw AWD Honda CRVs at the top on another property, so relax and take your time. It's fine and this property is the highest you can go. Worth it.Hot tub was clean and heated. We enjoyed it every night after hiking.This is a pretty remote area. With the drive down the mountain, nothing is with in 30-45 minutes. We love this, but be prepared to come with groceries. Grill is charcoal and works fine.Fully loaded kitchen. Showerheads recently changed to give great water pressure. Biggest bedroom is the one with bunk beds, if you're traveling with a big group, it's good to know for planning. They must treat with insecticide, no bees nest on property and bugs were minimal (even at night).If you want a quiet place, this is a steal. Do it!

This cabin was beautiful, family friendly, at the top and very end of the mountain with amazing views. The hot tub was a nice bonus. We were able to make it up the mountain in a Rav 4 without 4WD, although it’s highly recommended. The only weird thing that happened was another family knocked on the door, inquiring about staying in the same place. We notified the host about it but it was no big deal. It was my first Vrbo experience and I would totally stay here again.

Cute, comfortable, happy to not leave once there

This is a very cute and comfortable location. Beautiful views and stunningly cute cabin with all the luxurious you need. The host is very curtiouous and accommodating. This location is the very top of the mountain top so you get that feeling of privacy without being in the middle of nowhere. I would highly recommend this listing, and look forward to visiting again.

House was great and exactly as described. The road up and back down is no joke. A couple of things I wish I knew before. The water pressure in the showers is pretty bad. I think this has a lot to do with the location and getting water to the house so nothing can be done about that. I think this affects the washing machine as well. Make sure the oven door is securely closed, it can be a little tricky maintaining heat. Hot tub was great, but they had just changed the water before we got there (which we appreciated) so it needed some time to heat up. Overall this was just what we were looking for, secluded, beautiful views and a quiet setting.

This beautiful cabin is located at the top of a mountain, offering breathtaking views. It’s a convenient 20-minute drive from Bryson City, making it a great base for exploring the area. However, be prepared for a steep and windy mountain road, so make sure your vehicle has four-wheel drive.The cabin itself is cozy, but it could use some maintenance. One of the bed frames broke on the first night, and one of the steps on the inside stairs was loose and wobbly. Additionally, you’ll need to bring all your trash with you, as all the dumps were closed on Sunday when we checked out.

Great little home with lots of potential

Great stay. Overall it was clean and as advertised. Could use a little TLC to bring it to its full potential (light bulbs out, kitchen stools are worn out, some cobwebs, air hockey table broken…), but we had a great time and enjoyed the cabin.

True mtn environment

The cabin was beautifully decorated. We loved the wrap around porch with hot tub and cornhole boards set up on porch instead of in the yard. Loved the table to eat out on porch with nice views of mtn. The only downfall was the long gravel road up the mtn,but we knew that when we booked it.

Great house

Great house for secluded vacation. Does take a while to get up the mountain(15-20 min) and could be challenging in inclement weather, but was fine in truck and Honda civic. Close to Cherokee, Sylva.

Perfect Getaway With Awesome Views

The cabin was clean and exactly as described. We were lucky enough to rent during the peak season to see the fall color. The views from the cabin were amazing. The drive to the cabin was actually fun for us. The scenery was breathtaking and we spotted several chipmunks each time we went up and down the mountain.

Beautiful but be prepared for drive!

Our stay was great and as expected! Beware you need a 4x4 to safely access even in beautiful summer weather. We have a smaller front wheel drive SUV and I thought the warning on the mountain road only applied in snow. We almost didn’t make it up the first time and had to leave our non 4x4 car at bottom of mountain second night. Otherwise, beautiful property, well stocked and we had a great time!

Heavens Peak

Awesome little cabin on the top of the mountain, lot of reviews say the road is really sketchy going up and down but it’s really not that bad. I would recommend a truck or an SUV that has four-wheel-drive just in case

Beautiful View

The property was beautiful, well maintained and home very clean and well stocked. Beds were a little hard but nice and clean. We loved the deck and spent most of our time outside at the large table and chairs also where we ate dinner. The drive up the mountain was a little rough but we did have a 4 wheel drive and made it just fine. Overall I would have to rate it a 5 out of 5 ❤️ We would definitely book it again.

Top of the mountain

The drive up the hill was intimidating, but then I felt foolish when I saw a builder drove a ford fusion up and down everyday. The property was clean and the hot tub was great. I did not try the sauna. The view is incredible as you are at the end of the road all the way at the top. I would stay again, but it would be in the autumn to see the leaves changing colors.

Drive a 4×4

Wonderful weekend with my brothers!!+ Scenery was everything to us. Everything you need is there except your food of course. The drive up to the place was the only negative thing I have to say. I drove my truck so it wasn't bad however my brother drove his car to save on gas but found out he should have driven his....great stay overall!!

Other than having to haul the trash inside of our packed vehicle to the next town there are no complaints. It’s represented accurately. The trash situation would make me hesitant to rent it again unless I was in a truck.

Awesome place!

My wife and I had a great time! We came to ride the train in Bryson City and absolutely loved that! The property is about a 30 minute drive to the train depot. I would highly recommend using 4x4 to get up the driveway because it’s a good hike up the driveway but the scenery is amazing on a clear day! We were able to capture some amazing pictures since the leaves were still very colorful! This property has some of the best places to take pictures that I have seen! The cabin made us feel like we were at home and became very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family and anyone who is looking for a fun getaway for a weekend or even a few days!
