the staff was very friendly & kind. i got into my room & had a nice shower & some dinner. then i watched harry potter & went to bed. cheap price, no one bothered me, i can’t complain!

Comfy motel with the most competent staff
I stayed for one night only at this motel. Despite my late arrival, Sephanie was very helpful, nice and gave me tips. We chatted and she gave me excellent recommandations. The room was spotless and comfortable. Stephanie told me she was the manager and the sole employee of the motel - which is impressive as everything was clean and working. I think the owner should invest in some improvements and minor repairs but Stephanie does an incredible job.

It’s a dump…
I stayed here for a month. My booking was nonrefundable or else I would have left after the first couple of days of my stay. It smells old, the hallway and back entrance were never vacuumed and there were bugs in the room. The rooms are not vacuumed properly either. I found old cereal pieces in a corner of my room. Plus, there is a kid screaming and running around/inside the property with the father (I guess) constantly yelling at the kid. This happens various times of the day. I work nights and would be startled awake numerous times due to the screaming of the two. I actually heard other guests yell in frustration “shut up” from their rooms. I had a work colleague tell me she stayed there a couple of nights and had heard the kid and man yelling as well. There is also old junk/furniture outside the property.

The hotel is very outdated. There is broken furniture in the hallways. Only one person runs the entire hotel and she is definitely overworked. The room was fine. It was outdated, but it serves our needs for one night.

Ok in a pinch, but this place needs some repairs
Late checkin after Medora Musical. I had notified Front Desk 2 days before. Hotel very difficult to get to due to road construction. Unable to find key/paperwork as listed on note but someone finally came to help. Room clean but really needed some repair work and painting done. Window screen broken, walls needed patching and painting. Bathroom ceiling above tub badly in need of repair . Electrical outlets all need replacing as they barely held plug in.

Don't let the look of the place fool you. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Exterior could use some work and the location is out of the way.

poor Choice.
Ice machine was being "cleaned" during the hottest part of the summer. Breakfast area in AM had no pancake batter, and no one was around. If it wasn't the only place in the area I would have stayed somewhere else.

We had two rooms. One was just fine. The second room had such a strong smell from pet urine in the carpet that it burned the eyes. Fortunately the weather was seasonable for having the window wide open.

Terrible stains in toilets, sinks, bed had metal piece sticking out (cut husbands leg), very poor breakfast served, would be better not serving any breakfast. Mold on bagels, second day not pancakes mix. Finally, management asked another person in our party to pay almost twice the amount of room. Rooms are not worth 1/2 the price we paid ( $98) a night. Yard was terrible, not kept up. And no notice that motel was hard to get to due to the bridge being out. (Locals said it had been out for more then 2 months). Terrible experience. Keep driving another 60 miles to get a better place.

This hotel is indeed the gateway to Roosevelt national park! Very close to the highway so I could spend maximum time in the park instead of driving around. There are not many dining options near the hotel so make sure to prepare. Comfortable night.

Did not stay after arrival even though prepaid
After checking in, we found the room smelled musty; the microwave was dirty from previous use and the property overall was not up to the standard we expected of Rodeway Inn.We decoded not to stay and moved on the Glendive, MT, where we found much better accommodation for little more. We were threatened by not getting a refund as she did not expect her manager to approve it, which I will take up with Rodeway.

We didn’t actually get to stay at the property because the roads got closed. I will not be using Expedia again because of the no cancellation policy in the area we live in roads get closedall the time. so I do not want to take a risk of having to pay for getting nothing in return
