Nice!
Trevligt hotell, vi "landade" på för en övernattning när vi anlände till Thailand. Få solstolar vid poolen, men bra pool.

Do not stay at this hotel!!!
Bo inte på detta hotell!!! All personal var otrevlig, sa aldrig hej, inte ens när vi checkade in. Man kände sig aldrig välkommen här. Hotellet är slitet och behöver renoveras. Inte värt pengarna. Dålig städning på rummet. Poolen är grön av alger, alltid skugga över poolen, för få solstolar. Frukost med endast få valmöjligheter. Och när vi beställde pizza till middag, så kom dom ut med en liten frys pizza, till 300 bath! Stranden är väldigt smutsig och vattnet går inte att bada i för alla stenar i vattnet. Dåligt läge, finns inget att göra eller köpa i närheten, man måste ta taxi till närmaste 7-11. Sämsta hotellet vi bott på i Thailand. Kommer aldrig tillbaka hit igen.

mysigt hotell vid stranden.
Underbart, mysigt och fint hotell. Trevlig personal. Fin utsikt över havet och underbar strand. Helt okej frukost. Skulle rekommendera detta till alla som vill komma iväg till en magisk plats.

Kan tänka mig att återvända
Reste med familj, barn och barnbarn (3år). Läget var perfekt direkt på stranden och med ett par bra och billiga matställen inom ett par 100 meter. Stora höjdskillnader inom hotellet men får du ett rum vid poolen är det OK. Lite dyrt men prisvärt.

Underbar utsikt
Hotellet ser inte mycket ut från gatan men när man kommer in i rummet är det fantastisk utsikt mot havet. Vi hade som en lägenhet med två sovrum, ett gemensamhetsutrymme och två toaletter, väldigt rymligt. Restaurang precis vid havet där man också åt frukost. OK strand och inte riktigt klart vatten. Svårt att bada vi lågvatten.

Skapligt hotell överlag. Restaurangen är dock för liten i förhållande till antal gäster. Fina balkonger med underbar utsikt. Ligger lite "off", så man får räkna med en del resor.

Lugnt och skönt!
Jättebra läge på stranden där man har sol hela dagen och får se solnedgången på kvällen. Underbar personal som är mån om sina gäster. Rummen var stora och fräscha. Hotellet har varje dag gratis transport till och från "Festival" gallerian om man vill shoppa.

Havsbottnen dyig och full av sten redan vid strandkanten. Dyster syn vid kraftig ebb. Boende utmärkt liksom frukosten vid bord nästan vid strandkanten. - Genuina thairestauranger längs stranden.

The hotel room was quite nice and clean and had great air conditioning, as well as shampoo/conditioner/gel, and the staff was good. This made for a great few days of get-out-of-town relaxation. However, be advised: there is little to do within walking distance, swimming is highly tide-dependent due to rocks, and the area is rather well-populated with Russians. I’m glad I stayed here for a few days away from adventuring, but 5 was too many.

Staff was very lovely. The garden was really convenient to be able to touch some grass. The ocean view with the mountain back drops were gorgeous. Epic sunsets when the sky is clear. Hotel accomodations were excellent. The locals in the town were smiley and friendly. I enjoyed my stay and I had a pleasure meeting guests from around the world.

Hotellet virker slidt og forfaldent. Der var gammelt skrald i den ene skraldespand ved ankomst. Da vores baby kravlede rundt på gulvet, blev hendes ben helt sorte af skidt (første dag). Der manglede toiletpapir og håndsæbe da vi ankom. Pool har grøn algekant hele vejen rundt. Skabe og skuffer knirker og sidder i spænd, så vi ikke kan bruge dem! Vandskader i loftet er lappet med tape (2 steder er loftet blødt og forfaldent). Da vi bruger kogepladen, kommer der røg ud af skufferne under. Der var ved at gå ild i det! En nat det regner, kommer der vand ind på gulvet. Køkkenet i lejligheden, er uden fyldestgørende service og ingen babystol til rådighed. Heller ingen ordentlige babystole i restauranten. Dvs baby kan udenvidere falde ned … det er praktisk talt bare en højere voksenstol. På hjemmesiden står der, at de har Jacuzzi, den så vi ikke noget til. De skriver også:“order delicious drinks and snacks whenever you desire.“ Men deres restaurant lukker kl 14.30. Vi synes ikke det var pengene værd! Det positive ved stedet er: de er hurtige til at fikse tingene, personalet er venligt, gryderne i lejligheden var pæne og nye, strandtaske og strandtæpper til rådighed på værelserne. Og også udsigten, størrelsen på værelset og gratis lån af cykler.

Satisfactory
Overall was satisfactory. In a seclude part of Phuket, good for spending times with loves one or family. the Wifi is very slow and distorted, so this keep you away from your phone on device, instead focusing on total relaxation.

Fun in the sun
We have just returned from anther fantastic holiday at By The Sea. This is the 5th time we have stayed there and will be booking again next year. I would like to thank Suwaree and her team for going out of their way to make our holiday most enjoyable. No request was too much effort. The rooms are fantastic. We were a party of 5 (My Mom, my wife, and 2 children aged 7 and 10) and we fitted comfortably into 1 suite. This hotel is perfect for young families and couples looking for a relaxing holiday away from the hubbub of Patong. The hotel is isolated so if you are looking for night life this is possibly not for you. There is however a daily bus that will take you into Phuket Town should you want to do any shopping. There is also a 7/11 and Family Mart within walking distance should you need any supplies. The hotel backs right onto beach with restaurants within walking distance. I have 2 minor requests 1) more chairs around pool and 2) a microwave in the rooms. Thanks again Suwaree for a fantastic holiday.

A quite place to stay
The room is spacious and tidy. I love the bag (with two towels and a beach mat) they provide for going to the beach, which is very considerate. The view is also excellent especially for the sunset. Since the rocks are quite sharp underneath the water, we only do canoeing (the resort also provides it for free!!!). You can have food and self laundry services (another thing I really love since the washing machine also dries the clothes, it’s so much convenient) at a cheap price.

The staff at the hotel were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were late in coming back from our half day tour and late for our checkout, but the staff were understanding and accommodating. We found our suite comfortable. However, the toilet in our room was broken and leaking and could not be resolved during our stay. The WiFi was also weak on the premises. That said, this is a great resort if you want a quiet and restful weekend.

On the first day when we arrive this hotel, I ask for one if the staff that I just want to stay for 1 day. Then she said cannot and explain that i must stay for 2 days. Then I said it’s okay. So we checked out on 3rd January and this happened. Its the staff fault that she mistaken and spoke. Its her responsibility. She need to take the responsibility of her own. Then she calls patrol police. But the patrol police can’t speak english so that now we are going to Tourist police now. I would like to report to this hotel. This disturbs us and make us canceled to our tour sightseeing and we even booked for another hotel. We are leaving at 6th of January to our current Country. Please help report.

Dear Value guest, According to you stayed in our peak season which normally we can collect money for whole period of stay in case of you stay only one night. But as you said you would like to stay only one night then we informed you for penalty charge case of early check out one more night (then total 2 nights charge). Second day, you did not contact us for check out but you still stay one more night then we charge this for the second night, not the penalty charge one more night because you did not check out. Third day, you came to contact us for check out and we told you that you have to pay one more night for the penalty charge case of early check out but you refused to pay and did not respect on our policy. We therefore ask the police to be justice and help us to clear for the penalty charge on early check out. Anyway, finally we could not charge the penalty early check out due to you insisted to not pay us but actually you should do understand and respect on the hotel policy. For the reader on this review, please note that generally case of early check out penalty charge it will be subject to hotel policy and seasonal at that time which will be applied in case by case.

家族6名朝食付きで10泊しました。下は2歳上は10歳の4人の子連れでしたがホテルのプールと目の前に広がる海でたくさん遊んで毎日が楽しそうでした。お部屋は2つのシャワールーム(1つにはバスタブも)トイレも2つ。ベッドルームも2つ。クイーンサイズのお部屋とシングルサイズ2つがくっついたベットのお部屋でした。クイーンでは下の子二人の4人。シングルでは上の子2人。狭くなく眠ることができました。バスタオルにドライヤービーチタオルフェイスタオルも備わっていたので不憫なく過ごせました。朝食も洋食とタイフード フルーツが楽しめます。シリアルも3種類ほどありました。ディナーでもホテルのレストランを何度か利用しましたが美味しかったです。トムヤムクン フライドライスがお気に入りでした。雨季でしたが突然のスコールも少なく 一日中雨の日はありませんでした。スタッフさんも、親切でとても良い人です。ホテルの周りには2店舗のコンビニ。オムツも買えます。ピザ トムヤムクンが美味しいレストランもあるので、食事にはさほど困りません。子供達も、私達夫婦も また来たい❤️と思っています

Das Hotel ist baufällig. Es regnet in das Zimmer. Unfreundliches Personal. Begrüssung beim Frühstück oder an der Rezeption leider Fehlanzeige. Reinigung des Zimmers ist ausbaufähig. Gut ist die grösse des Zimmers und die Lage des Hotels.

Had an unfortunate experience at By The Sea. It did not help that it rained/thunderstormed throughout our entire stay, so we were confined to the hotel grounds, except during daily excursions to the Central Festival mall (very nice mall). Hotel provides free daily shuttle service: drop off at 10:00 am and 1:30 pm, pick up at 2:00 pm and 4:30 pm. Our room had a leaky window that was never fixed, although they tried, they did offer to change our room but there was no point as it was our check out day when they offered. We wanted to take the free shuttle to the Festival Central on check out day at 10:00 AM (to save some money on the very expensive taxi fare) and we were the FIRST to sign up for that particular shuttle. BUT when it came time to board the shuttle the normal 15 person van was unavailable so one of the staff drove a small 6 person SUV and for some reason we were not included in the car, so we were forced to either wait for the car to come back for a second round or call a taxi (as we had a flight to catch, we were forced to call a Taxi) Taxi service is very expensive in this area as the hotel is very far away from everything on the island (the free hotel shuttle to the mall itself took about 30 min). I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. Oh and to top it all off, the beach area is covered in trash! Very disappointing :( The only positive things I can say is one of the staff, Pat, was very nice, and hotel staff keeps the hotel clean especially the pool area.

Great small hotel on hillside with beach front.
Small hillside hotel with pools and restaurant by the beach. Got upgraded to family room with 2 bedrooms, 2 bahts, living room and kitchen. Very good layout for family with balcony overlooking swimming pool. Thai foods in the restaurant were catered for tourist and breakfast were ok, nothing special. Many Chinese tourists during breakfast and in pools with noises. Great value for the beachfront hotel in Phuket. Will definitely come back.

環境一流，設備陳舊
地點遠離遊客區，環境幽靜舒適，可惜最後兩天泳池的過濾器壞了，水變得污濁，幸好外面有個小沙灘彌補不足。 房間很大，這個價格其實也是很化算的。

Truly By the Sea
We wanted to stay somewhere that was quiet, off the tourist route and in walking distance of the sea. We were delighted to find ‘By the Sea’ covered our criteria. The hotel is in need of refurbishment but it is still comfortable, the rooms are large with good sea views. The hotel is tiered, there are 60 steps to get to the top tier, the steps are swallow and manageable even for retirees. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The beach has plenty of shade but you can only go swimming in high tide because of the rocky sea bed. The restaurant food was good and @the beach restaurant and bar is a good cheap alternative.

Lovely hotel next to a beautiful beach
Great location for a quiet beach holiday. On arrival we were upgraded to a family room which was clean and very big. Two large bedrooms, a kitchen, dining room, living room, two large bathrooms (both had showers one also a bonus bath) and a large garden balcony overlooking the sea. The rooms were in good repair and clean. The negatives were a hard bed and the front door did not close properly. It would close with a firm slam but the maid never did this and we came back to the door being open everyday. The location is exactly what we wanted, a lovely quiet Thailand beach with clear sea and Palm trees. There are a couple of beach bars a short walk up the beach which provide reasonably priced food and drinks. The food was delicious. We only ate breakfast at the hotel which was okay but not great, I cannot comment on the restaurant or the room service. The negative for facilities was that the hotel could not provide sun beds on the beach and you had to make do with a mat and towels. I would certainly stay here again as the positives far exceed the negatives.
