“Lovely English country house with a beautiful garden located right on Dartmoor so it’s a great starting point for exploring the area (I explored by foot only). The highlight of the hotel is its elegant and luxurious spa. Fabulous breakfast served. Lovely dinner options at The Blue Tiger. Spacious room and very comfortable bed. I would happily return! ”

“Facilities really are first rate, staff are very friendly and attentive. Lots of sporting activities available, on-site food is pretty decent, although we tried to make use of the self-catering facilities. Rooms are lovely, although soundproofing could be improved but generally other guests are thoughtful. My only area of improvement would be the cooking facilities within the apartments. They are very basic and missing some simple amenities such as a chopping board. But overall really can't...

“The room was spotless, Lisa was welcoming and helpful. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and milk in the fridge were provided. The full english breakfast was perfect too.”

“I had the best stay here for theEaster holiday weekend! It was such a beautiful property in a stunning location with incredible views! It’s a dog friendly hotel and they were so nice to my dog who I brought with us. Every single person who is part of the hotel staff is so lovely, helpful and kind!!! Amazing customer service!! The breakfast and Dinners that we had at the restaurant were all so delicious!! Will come back to stay again! 10/10!!”

“Staff were very friendly and helpful, food was well cooked and reasonable in price. Parking was safe and easy and th egrounds, which lead to a park and the beach are wonderful. Our dog was welcome with us and well looked after in the hotel - much more so than some 'dog friendly' hotels.”
