“We enjoyed our three night stay at The Twelve hotel in Barna. We decided to try staying outside of Galway and used bus and taxi to get in and out of town. The hotel is very nice. The room is spacious (we had a King suite). The morning breakfast was excellent. While Barna was not particularly walkable, we were able to take the city bus both into Galway to explore the city and take an excursion to the Cliffs of Moher, as well as to the ferrys to Aran Islands. "We really enjoyed our stay, especially the nice breakfast selection and the convenience of having both restaurants and vending machines. Less convenient: Only two elevators and the stairs were not very easy to find, adding some waiting time in the morning when everyone is going to breakfast at the same time. Also swimcaps were needed in the pool which you had to pay for (3Euro, mainly inconvenient since we had to run back to the room). On the other hand, the pool and especially the outdoor jacuzzi (nice and properly warm) were great. "
