âFor a three bedroom (sleeps six) cottage this is great value. It's generally in satisfactory condition. OK, the garden and cottage could do with sprucing up a bit but it's a good place to stay. There is plenty of car parking space around the back, and a large village (Kelsall) two miles awayâ
âEasy quick check-in, room nice and clean, very comfortable bed, glad a fan was provided as the night was extremely humid. Great breakfast and good time availability, nice to have the 7am option. Perfect location for our needs, Oulton Park Racing circuit and Chester Zoo. Car park has barrier so car feels secure. Nice countryside location. Will book again should I venture to Cheshire again.â
âThe location was excellent. I needed somewhere to break my journey walking along the towpath of the Trent-Mersey canal, and this motel is only a mile north of the canal, at the midway point between the Anderton Boat Lift and the end of the canal at Preston Brook. I don't think I would have been able to complete the walk without its being where it is. Facilities were good (like an Extended Stay property, with a kitchen; bed was comfortable; convenience shop nearby was a bonus. â

âOur stay was very comfortable and it was a great location for our stopover between Scotland and Devon. The host was very efficient, friendly and accommodating to our needs. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The only downside was the en suite bathroom which had a sensor light. This made any night time toilet trips impossible to make without waking someone up with the light and extractor fan. The shower pressure was very weak & the sink was tiny. All completely clean and functional...
âReally nice stay near my old hometown. A peaceful Cheshire country area, very quiet and easy to get to. Parking onsite, safe and secure.
Food is great, staff helpful and friendly and comfy surroundings. Good range of breakfast options included.
Our room was fairly small but there are options, if there had been other facilities like a spa or sauna it would be 5 stars for facilities. Also, much better room coffee would be great but you see that a lot outside of cities, most people donât care...

Staff are friendly and attentive. Rooms are a decent size and very clean and comfortable.
Lovely breakfast in the morning (not included) and reasonably priced for the quality of product used.
Would recommend and would stay again if returning to Chester â
