“Very charming property. Everyone was super friendly ended up meeting just about the entire street trying to turn around with our boat. The road in is a very tight one lane road with not alot of space to back into the driveway. A neighbor ended up making space for me to turn around and i was easily able to back in. Longbed truck with 20ft bassboat did not help situation. Property was beautiful and fit our needs perfectly, planning on coming back for the white water festival in October. Thanks...

“Cons: Not motorcycle friendly. I would be very cautious with a normal sized car also as the gravel road leading to the property was long and uneven. Torn up livingroom chair on the back porch was odd. Livingroom furniture looked like old second hand furniture. Seemed like they bought one of the cheapest models of hot tub. It did the job though. Not all windows had coverings. The neighbors who had to drive right by could easily see everything inside the unit at night. Pros: very quiet. Can see...

“We were traveling through the area on the way to the east coast and loved the location of this place! We hiked some of the trails in the state park across the street and drove to the national park about 20 minutes away. Lovely place and thankful it was pet friendly so we could bring along our dogs! “Overall an excellent stay, very clean, decently supplied. Excellent location in the middle of a bunch of the north hiking areas. Close to grocery and gas. We were happy to have a close outdoor plug so we could charge our PHEV. Would definitely stay here again if we get back to this area.”

“Great spot for our home base to explore New River Gorge NP. House was well appointed and comfortable. Beds were comfy and the towels were plush - better than I have at home! Loved the decor. Sophia, the host, did an outstanding job ensuring we had a great stay. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend.”
