Beautiful area close to everything
We had a wonderful stay! The house was equipped with everything we needed and the owner and home manager were awesome! They were quick to answer and helped us immediately with a minor problem we had. The AC in the bedrooms cooled quickly for when we needed it in the evenings. We enjoyed the pool. The view from the property is absolutely incredible! Thank you for our stay!

Superb Experience
This is a great place to stay. Communications with the owner and the caretaker were top-notch! The house was as described, check-in was easy, car rental with the owner was great! We really did not have one bad experience. I highly recommend this property to those looking for a great place to stay while on Curacao!

Fantastic Villa and Great Location
We very much enjoyed spending our Christmas vacation together with our (adult) children in this beautiful villa. A great welcome by Mario! Gated area which helps feeling safe in the house. Some appliances and (outside) furniture may be getting a bit older, but they are still very convenient and comfortable. We very much recommend this villa - a great place to spend your vacation in Curacao.

Great house for family of 10
Overall the property worked great for our family of 10. The only thing that would have made it better was for the house to have a clothes dryer. It was challenging with 10 people and all the rain to wash our clothes (swimsuits and towels) each day and hang them up to dry. Thanks for a great vacation!!

Great home loved the pool and view
We enjoyed our family vacation stay at this home. The owners had everything prepared for us before our arrival, the check-in process was smooth, they even assisted with a rental car, and they were available when any problems arose. The property manager was helpful as well. We also enjoyed the kitchen and pool. Though we didn’t use the AIr conditioner often, the breeze from opening the doors and windows helped. Great neighborhood as well, seems to be in the middle of everything. Enjoyed our stay.

Amazing villa
We booked this for our trip to Curaçao and liked it very well only thing that you have to pack your soap and shampoo if provided that would be fine but it's not a big deal. The manager was helpful and did her job.

Wunderschön, aber in die Jahre gekommen
Wir haben 3 wundervolle Wochen mit Familie und Freunden ( 8 Personen) im Haus verbracht und es ist schon einzigartig in der Einrichtung /Gestaltung, hat einen gewissen Charme und wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Es ist alles vorhanden und wenn es ein kleines Problem gab, oder etwas fehlte kümmerte sich Mario ( Hausverwalter )und seine Assistentin Ulrike umgehend darum. Beide sind grandios und nochmal ein großes Danke an die Beiden. Leider war nicht alles so luxuriös wie beschrieben, denn gerade die Bäder sind in die Jahre gekommen, die Loungemöbel außen sind zum Teil verschlissen/kaputt , das Terrassendach ist undicht und es regnet durch und für 8-10 Personen gibt es leider nur 2 Liegen am Pool. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war super nett und Antworten kamen umgehend. Unser Fazit : Ein traumhafter Urlaub im Haus, aber einige Dinge sollten erneuert werden.

Wonderful House!
We are 2 couples from the US who stayed here for a week. It's a really lovely home with a well equipped kitchen, beautiful pool and outdoor area, and toys for water such as floaties and snorkeling. We didn't bring kids but this house would be great for 2 families with kids. The middle bedroom could sleep 4 kids and there is a TV room with a door that closes as well as the great pool! Mario was a super helpful an available manager who helped us with all our needs. We would happily stay here again if we return to Curacao.

Beautiful home
We really enjoyed our stay. The house is roomy and clean. The pool and yard are beautiful. Mario was very helpful with our needs and questions about the island. The weather was very hot and humid and the air conditioning was great in the bedrooms but the rest of the house needs much more air circulation. Additional fans would be great.

Thank you for your review Barb. For future reference here is a short explanation; September is hurricane season, which means that the weather is warmer than usual. The way on the island to get circulation in the house is by opening windows. Not something we're used to in the USA. But homes on the island are designed for this purpose. On another note, there are 2 moveable standing fans available plus there is a ceiling fan and an AC in the living room. I will look though to see if there is anything we can improve.

It was a great place for the family. Nice neighborhood, we really enjoyed the indoor/outdoor concept. Plenty of space throughout the house. The owners/managers were quick to respond to any questions.

Paradise
Lovely property with all the amenities you could want. We just loved sitting on the patio listening to the birds and sipping a cocktail. Mario was an excellent manager and always available if any small issue arose, top marks. Unfortunately the trip had to be curtailed due to the COVID-19 crisis and we luckily got a flight home before everything closed down. Hopefully one day we'll return Pierre, and with the whole family in tow.

A nice villa well located
We enjoyed our stay at the Villa. It is a beautiful place. The view from the balcony is amazing. We liked the pool area. We highly recommend this place. Be careful with electricity usage even if we had air conditionning only at night it cost us extra money at the end of our stay even if most of the time we were not there during the day.

Spring Break 2019
We had a wonderful time! The house is so beautiful and we really enjoyed the pool. Franca was so helpful! We felt very comfortable in the neighborhood and loved exploring the island. I definitely would go back to their home!

Lovely house that makes you feel like you're home
My two adult siblings and our spouses as well as our mother stayed for a week and left with memories to last a lifetime. Each morning we woke up to the sugar birds trying in vain to build their nest in one of the porch chandeliers or bird houses as we interrupted them with coffee and breakfast outside. We all enjoyed the pool immensely and were grateful to be able to find some type of shade on the porches or in the house during the humidity and heat of the day. Be sure to watch a sunset from the porch. They are incredible and make great photos! Spend the day at Mambo Beach, which is about 10-15 minutes from the house. And you are better off heading in that direction to go into the city center as navigating the roundabouts can be tricky, as can the agressive drivers. The only negatives were the house had a few leaking issues when we were there - the washing machine, apartment toilet and tea pot all leaked, but that didn't detract from the time we spent at the house. We were all sad to leave!

Lovely property
This villa has all you could want in a vacation property. We were very impressed about most of the property except for the apartment downstairs. My wife and I stayed in the apartment which for the most part was adequate for what we needed. It needs some repairs, lights in kitchen area weren't working and it must be noted that there is no hot water in apartment unit so we had to use one of the showers in the house. Again, no big deal but it must be noted. As for the rest of the house, there was enough room for our party of 8 that you could have your own space if you wanted it. Every bedroom has it's own shower and toilet which is a plus. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Pool area is beautiful. The open air blowing through the house during the day keeps everything cool and would be nice if there were someway to have screens on the windows so you could enjoy this breeze at night without any bugs. The house again is beautiful, our hosts and our house manager were of great help and responded to our needs quickly. Hope to be staying here again in the future.

AMAZING home in a beautiful part of Curacao
This home really is as stunning as the pictures. From the beginning Pierre was very responsive. He knows the best beaches, restaurants and special Curacao places. One of those special places is this home. The master bedroom with a super comfy bed is like a private paradise. The other bedrooms are also great (according to our daughters who used them) The AC in each room does a great job keeping things nice and cool during the Curacao heat. The fully stocked kitchen is gorgeous and user friendly. We cooked in about five times, State of the art, large fridge and great gas stove and oven. The fridge and freezer held all our food and booze.. mostly booze and beer... comfortably Lots of comfy seating and dining spots. We loved the inside of this house, but the real magic is outside. The pool is spectacular. Lots of lounging space in and out of the sun. We were in the pool during the day and at night. Love the Wi-fi speaker system that you can hear throughout the house and in the pool area. Franc is wonderful and responsive. She even purchased some groceries for us that were waiting when our late flight arrived. The only slight disappointment was the 'game room'. There aren't really any complete games to play. But it did look like there were toys for small kids. We will come back to Curaco and we will try to lock down this house again. It was a great week with a great house in a fantastic home!

Gorgeous Villa - perfect for my family vacation!
Loved our stay in this amazing villa located just outside of Willemstad city center in a gated community. Our family of 6 had loads of room in this spacious, multi-level pool home, with loaded kitchen and all the comforts of home. Extras were very nice (coffee, dish soap, laundry soap, sun-screen, extra kitchen bags). Franca (property manager) was amazing especially since our arrival was very late! Her time was greatly appreciated with explaining specifics with the villa upon check-in and throughout our stay. Would highly recommend this villa for families!

Fantastic stay! 4.5 stars!
We had a great stay and the house was fantastic! The only reason I gave 4.5 stars instead of 5 was because the refrigerator in the lower apartment was not working and needed to be replaced and there is only cold water in that bathroom which we were not aware of. It was refreshing in the heat! Would stay again very happily

Stay here!
You will not be disappointed. Pierre was always responsive to our email questions. Franca greeted us at the villa and was so welcoming & friendly as she showed us around. When we contacted her by email a few times during our visit, she too was timely in her responses. The villa is situated in a gated community so we felt very safe. Restaurants, supermarkets, great beaches were all close by. The layout of the house was great for our 2 families of 4. Plenty of space - we ate breakfast & dinner out on the porch. We used the AC in the bedrooms at night which made it more comfortable for sleeping. Even so, we only used about 1/2 of our allotted electricity. The pool is a wonderful amenity and the kids thoroughly enjoyed swimming in the pool, despite having spent most of the day at the beach! The island itself is incredible with lots of beaches to explore, amazing snorkeling, Christoffel Mt & Shete Boka NP, mountain biking (Wannabike had great guided trips that were close by) & Windsurfing Curacao (on Spanish Waters). Have an amazing vacation on Curacao with this place as your home base!

Even after living there for 8 years we found some hidden treasures or beaches that blew our mind! We've set the electricity allowance on purpose very high so our guests don't have any 'hidden' surprises. Having a 10kw solar system on the roof helps with that too of course. It happened maybe twice in all the years we're hosting that our guests went over. And even then we're very leanient. We hope to welcome you again in your future travels! best, Sharon and Pierre

Such a wonderful Vacation House!!!
We were thrilled with the house and all accommodations as well as with our contact, the house manager. She was friendly and helpful and definitely added to our overall satisfaction. Our 3 year old delighted in the on site playground and pool area while his grandparents enjoyed the privacy of the apartment downstairs. Highly recommend for large families or group of friends and would love to book again in the future. They were super flexible and let us stay another night when our flight got cancelled. All 8 of us absolutely LOVED our stay.

Excellent way to celebrate my 40th birthday with friends and family!
What you see is what you get. The online pictures are a perfect representation of this beautiful home! Early morning & late night swims in our private pool were my favorite. Everything you need is here so ask lots of questions. I was bummed to learn that there was an iron/board and Bluetooth access to the amazing sound system during my check-out! Pierre was responsive to all of my questions and extremely helpful throughout my planning process.

Summer vacation spot
I am happy that we chose this house to stay in while in Curacao. It was very spacious and felt like a home away from home for 3 adults and 2 children. The pool was icing on the cake and there were plenty inflatable pool toys for the kids and adults to enjoy. There were also toys for the beach. All you really need to bring is clothes, toiletries, and sunblock (maybe a few other things). Loved the number of bathrooms, no one waiting, and everything was clean. Although there is no clothes dryer, everything was provided for hanging your clothes on the line to dry which i actually really liked, it took very little time for our clothes to dry during the day. When you opened the doors and windows an amazing breeze flowed through the house that just allowed for maximum relaxation. This was a wonderful and memorable experience that I would do again.

Amazing vacation!
This house is incredible. Is fully packed with everything you'll need and more. We love Curaçao and this house is the perfect way to enhance your vacation. Beautiful views all around the house, and comfortable amenities make this house perfect. The house manager is amazing too, very sweet and polite and also easy and quick to reach if you need anything. The owner is also great! We will definitely go back to Curaçao and for sure book this house again.

Fantastic!
Just stayed at the Bayview villa in Jan Sofat and it was fantastic. The house is huge and was perfect for my group of 7. We rented cars from D&D and the house is 10 minutes from Mambo and Jan Theil, a bit further to Cas Abou beach. The house is in a gated community and is fully equipped with a guard house and patrolling security with a dog which made us feel very safe. As a runner it was great to get out and run the development first thing in the morning. When we arrived Franca greeted us with a huge smile and made sure we were settled in before she left. She even showed up mid week after a storm to make sure we were ok. When you are in the house open all the windows and the wind will cut through and cool you. At night we ran 3 air conditioners and were well under the 60kw level. We estimated that you could probably run 5 thru the night and just about hit the allotted level. The house has everything you would have at your own house and we cooked a fair amount. We hung out after the beach at the pool and found the stereo set up impressive as there are speakers all over the place. The kids found the game room and quickly realized how stocked it was with movies toys and video games. Pierre was also very responsive answering most inquiries within 24 hours. If you're thinking about it - book it - we had a lot of fun at this house and will likely be back. Michael from NJ

Just a side note for interested guests: Due to a very unfortunate mixup with a booking agency we had a double booking and fortunately we were able to host Ato and his party at an alternative location. (ofcourse equal to our home). His review is about this home in question and not ours. For clarification: Our home as actually 2 microwaves and a full 36inch oven. Wonderful vacation home in gated community close to beaches & more.
Our family of 6 adults had a wonderful 10 night stay in this vacation home. Four bedrooms each with it's own bathroom, plus a main floor powder room. Lower level with efficiency apartment. Bedrooms are air conditioned, which was necessary to use only at night. Open windows during the day for breeze to keep house comfortable. Pool is also much appreciated. A number of grocery stores are a short drive away. Close to Tugboat, which is a great snorkel area. We went to 6 beaches along the coast while there. Spent our last full day at Cas Abao beach and loved it! Quiet, nice sand beach with decent snorkeling and snack bar. Pierre answered questions quickly via email before we arrived, and Management Host Franca was helpful during our visit.

The house is as described. The hostess, Franca, is warm available when you need her, and very helpful. There are a lot of stairs and levels in the house and going to the pool. Just a note for families with young children. It was a lovely stay and we will most likely come back! Pierre was available for help as well when Wif, was down too.

Had a wonderful two week holiday in Curasao with family, house plenty big enough. Was 8 adults and one baby the first week then 7 adults and 1 baby second week. Got my moneys worth out of the pool alone, swam morning noon and night. Franca lovely and always responds when messaged. Pool cleaners came often.

Beautiful and spacious!
A group of us stayed here last month and we were greeted by the house manager Franca who was so helpful, pleasant and very nice!! The place is beautiful and has so much space and great amenities. I love the design of the kitchen! We really felt at home and we were sad to leave. The house is great for a group of friends, families, couples or a combination of the above. The island is great and such a beautiful and welcoming place.

The listings pictures and details were exactly as described (pictures don't do it justice, you still get the wow factor when you actually arrive and walk around yourself). Everything worked properly and everything was nicely organized and clean. We really enjoyed the pool and being able to relax in at after a long day out. The indoor/outdoor speakers were very fun-we loved listening to our music while at the pool or during dinner. The kitchen was equipped with nearly everything that you could possibly think of or need. Jan Thiel beach and zanzibar (must try frozen cappuccino) are just a few minutes drive away. The location of the home was nice and we felt very safe. The host was very friendly and openly available if we had any questions throughout our stay which was great and very much appreciated. We had a very pleasant stay and I would recommend this home to family and friends. Thank you!

Fantastic property and holiday
We enjoyed a lovely holiday in Curacao, highlighted by our stay at the villa. Based upon the information depicted on the website and through emails exchanged with the owners (Pierre and Sharon), we had high expectations for the property. We are not disappointed, as the property was everything we had hoped for! The property was simply beautiful; very well appointed, with tasteful furnishings and all the desired amenities, as well as a fantastic view of the Spanish Water and surrounding hills. We especially enjoyed the very nice pool and deck/patio areas of the property. As for the surrounding area, there are beaches and recreational activities within 5-10 min from the house. There are also a number of great restaurants in the Jan Sofat/Jan Thiel area, so one doesn't have to go far for great cuisine! From start to finish, the entire process was totally painless, from the initial inquiry and booking, through check-in (assisted by the lovely Franca), to check out and recoup of deposit, everything went smoothly. Bottom line, this is a wonderful property that we will not hesitate to enjoy again on our next trip to Curacao!! Highly recommended!!

Luxury villa with an amazing view
I’m more than satisfied with our choice on vacation home. Villa is really the most beautiful of all our rentals thru the time (and it has been many in past 20 years). We are most impressed with details and style of villa. Every corner, every wall, every room has such of charm. Best part is view of course! We liked that house has European electricity. Big +!!!! Kitchen was really perfect. 10-12 persons can stay at villa at the same time without be crowded. 3 bedrooms upstairs, one extra game room downstairs with sofa bed. There is also an extra apartment separately with own kitchen. Entertainment station is perfect with TV and music. Extra plus that speakers are even outside and we could enjoy music during our meals on terrace. Franca who took care of us when arrived and departed was available all the time for all our questions. Extremely kind and positive person. WIFI work everywhere, even outside there we spent almost all our time enjoying an amazing view. Villa is placed in a resident area and a car is a must to access beaches and stores. PayPal payment went without any fuzz. Pierre answers mails very quickly and information document that we received before arrival contained all of necessary details for our stay. We will definitely recommend this property for all our friends and relatives. And we will choose this villa again if we visit Curacao in the future.
