Wonderful Exploration Base
This home was a perfect location for my family (4 adults and 3 kids). We were an hour away from Grand Canyon, an hour from Sedona, and the town of Williams was quite fun (Go to Bearizona = so much fun). The house itself was quite nice. The kitchen was very large and the family room was more than adequate for our family to have some fun game nights after exploring all day. The only knock on it is that the backyard is under construction so we did not get to enjoy many daytime views out back (but we never saw or heard anyone working). When the construction is done, it will be GORGEOUS, but I don't know when that will be. But then again, most of the time we got back at sunset which sets behind the house on a small tree lined hill - so the construction never really affected our nighttime star viewing. We saw a few deer near the home and heard some other wildlife while sitting on the back porch. With this location and setup, I would stay here again time and time again.

Christmas vacation
The property is literally five minutes to the polar Xpress. Also the Grand Canyon train ride. We did both had a fabulous time. Highly recommend it. The property has plenty of slopes for sledding, and the sleds are included. The driveway was a little wet and muddy. However, they had no problem getting someone to snow plow. Would definitely come back again. Love the gas fireplace. So easy to use versus burning wood. Kids love the pool table.

Polar express weekend
The cabin overall is very nice and clean. Distance from Williams is excellent. Only thing I would say that was less then excellent was the fact that they are doing some sort of construction/dirt work behind the house. Which made looking out the rear windows all weekend at piles of dirt and rocks and multiple construction equipment vehicles such as excavators and diesel pick up trucks less then desirable. I'm sure the owners have no control over it but a warning would have been nice. Overall was a great experience .

Family fun in a beautiful home
We had a wonderful time staying at this lovely, well-furnished home. There was plenty of room for our large family to congregate for meals, conversation and games and still spread out when necessary. The beautiful kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to prepare and enjoy meals. The beds were comfortable, but note that three out of the four are rather high, including the bed in the primary bedroom on the main floor which our elderly parents had a difficult time getting into. Overall, we had a fabulous time and highly recommend this amazing property.

Beautiful Cabin
This was a beautiful 4 bedroom 3.5 bath cabin. We had 6 adults and 1 teen. We used it as home base for our trip to the Grand Canyon. The cabin had a very large deck deck that was great for sitting and relaxing. It had two large living / family room areas 1 upstairs and 1 down stairs. it was great for sitting around and talking.

Nice property, however lacking in adequate toiletries and Kleenex. Also, several light bulbs burned out and refrigerator light out as well. Also, I have stayed at many high end properties and have never been asked to strip the bedding upon departure. I think that’s part of the cleaning fee service.

Grand Canyon Trip after the South Rim
This was our family trip to the GC (postponed from 2020 by Covid) with our two adult kids/spouses and four 2-5 yr old grandkids. We stayed at Kachina Lodge at the Rim for two nights then on to Williams for another two nights at this awesome house where we spent time all together and did some local things like Bearizona Park (great for kids and adults), train station and local restaurants and stores. The Safeway grocery store in town has everything you need for a few days stay. This house is about 2 miles south of the town center and is in a wonderful private location with great facilities and decks. The host, Kristie, was great to work with.

Madrigal/Pulido family Spring Break Vacation
Beautiful home with great size yard for kids to explore and play in. The upstairs is perfect for entertaining with the living room and the kitchen connected and the outdoor patio with BBQ grill just a few steps away. Downstairs was also a great size with plenty off toys/games for kids to entertain themselves. Downstairs also has a pool table for adults to enjoy. In our stay we enjoyed Downtown Williams and Bearizona (zoo) that where just minutes away from the cabin. We also went to the Grand Canyon and Sedona that where just an hour away from the cabin. Host was very helpful and responded to questions in a timely manner. Overall, kids and adults enjoyed our stay.

Happy Campers
We felt so lucky to be able to fit our entire family into this beautiful space. Sitting by the fire cooking and playing games at night was a real highlight. We do wish we could have turned the fireplace on in the morning with our coffee. At one point it seemed someone came by during our stay to move cushions while we were out of the house. We would have liked a heads up. Otherwise, location is excellent. Thank you for everything.

Awesome stay
We spent the weekend with our couple friends and all our kids. The kitchen was perfect for cooking meals, the outdoor deck was the best seat in the house. It rained and we spent hours sitting out under the covered area of the deck. The kids loved the tree house and spent many hours in it. The downstairs was a perfect play space for the kids, and the bedrooms were all great for us adults. We loved the area and cabin so much.

Great family getaway
We loved our stay at this cabin! It easily accommodated our large group and the kids loved being able to run around the grounds. The layout is super open and lovely! The only thing I would say is they could use new beds. But the kitchen was really well stocked and we loved hanging out on the giant patio! We will be going back for sure!

Great get away
Perfect house if you are looking to get away and relax! Super comfortable and a great kitchen if you like to cook...well stocked! Pretty easy to travel back and forth to the Grand Canyon. We didn’t eat in town but lots of options if you choose to.

Beautiful and personal snow access
Its a gorgeous property and home. Beware, there are lots of heads which one of the kids had an issue with. It was wonderful having a winter wonderland to explore right on property. Several acres of snow covered hills for sledding and snow play. The house was warm and inviting with everything you'd need in the kitchen (pots, pans, silverware, etc.). They had a few sleds in the garage. We were very happy with our stay and appreciated the personal accommodations they made for us.

The ultimate dream cabin for families!
My husband and I along with our 2 adult children and their families stayed in this beautiful dream cabin. It was a perfect layout with each bedroom having their own full bathroom. Also a wonderful pool table and living area for adult gathering after kids went to bed. Perfect spot for visiting beautiful down town Williams, Bearizona, & Polar Express. Had some difficulty communicating wifi info so had to go without. Such a perfect cabin rental with all the warm cozy feels.

Prefect Cabin!
Amazing property in Williams. The adults loved being able to disconnect and truly unwind and the kids enjoyed exploring the outdoors. This cabin is beautiful and has everything you’ll need to cook meals, sleep comfortable and spend quality time with friends and family. We came for the Grand Canyon Railway, the cabin was only a few minutes away. Also went to the charming town for dinner one night and took the kids to Bearizona (it was a hit!)

Beautiful Cabin & Fabulous Location
My family and I, which includes three young children stayed here with close friends of ours who also have three young children and had a wonderful time! The cabin is perfect for two families with two large living areas with plenty of space or both families and children. There is also a vast amount of space to explore front and back of the cabin for the kiddos. It was just far enough outside of Williams to feel like you were off the radar but just close enough to run in for something at the grocery store or to have a meal in town. We also brought our off-road vehicles up and there were countless trails to easily ride off to and get out in the forest. We had just an amazing time and would definitely stay here again. Kristie is also very fast to respond and super easy to work with!

The house was beautiful, great space and just a gorgeous house. Everything we needed. We were ok with the water conservation, but it was always on my mind, so not as stress-free as I would have liked for a vacation. . If water conservation does not bother you, it is just a great place for a quite weekend.

Wonderful escape from the Phoenix heat
My family of 5 really enjoyed our time at the cabin. I have 3 small children (1, 3 and 6), and the cabin was very family friendly. My kids loved the toys, pool table and comfortable beds. The deck was gorgeous and safe for children. The owner did have a pack and play, but we brought our own to use. The cabin was comfortable, beautifully decorated and clean. Best of all my 6 year old was THRILLED there was a little tree fort on the property. There was also a zip line, but we didn't touch it because I wasn't sure how sturdy it was. We visited Bearizona and The Grand Canyon during our short stay. Great location for both places. We would love to come back to stay in the winter and book The North Pole Experience. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great place to unwind
Location was great manager was helpful. Very quite area with not a lot of other house near us. Fire pit was nice to have although not a lot of chairs available for outdoor. Had a water tank supply so water conservancy was important so showing was not what I was used to at home. Over all the place was great for our family get together to celebrate my daughters graduation.

The property is just as advertised. It was a beautiful home and the chain in and out process was clear and easy to understand. It had a fully stocked kitchen and the home had many nice extras. Such as games and toys for kids, sleds and misc stuff.

Beautiful cabin in the woods
This was our second time renting this cabin as part of our Polar Express experience. We had snow both years at the beginning of December and there is a nice clear area on the property for sledding. The kitchen is spacious and adjacent to a cozy dining/living area. There is a guest bath on this floor and a master bedroom and bath. On the lower floor, there is a pool table, tv area, and the other bedrooms and bathrooms. There are games in the cabin and Direct TV, but no WiFi, so you might need to set up a hotspot. The owner hires professional cleaners so the place is spotless.

Everything was just as listed.
My only suggestion is that if you are looking for the house for the first time in the dark it might be a little difficult to locate. The Texas star on the garage that is given as a landmark has faded and blends with the house and from the road is difficult to see. Had a wonderful time and enjoyed the location of the house.

Absolutely Awesome Vacation w/ Teens
I was slightly hesitant to book this place only due to the number of reviews, but I have to tell you this home and property is absolutely fantastic! We came up for a week (Monday - Friday) with 3 teen boys and 2 RZRs. From the moment we stepped in the house, we all just kept saying “wow!”. The home is beautiful and spotless. It has everything you might need- we definitely over packed! The downstairs ended up being the place to be with the pool table. It seems impossible to break all 3 boys away from gaming- but they spent 5 days up there with no WiFi and there were zero complaints, and no “I’m bored”s. One side tip if you’re looking for things to do- go to Bearizona! All 3 boys said that was their favorite thing on the trip- even above riding the trails! We only ate a couple meals in the home, there are quite a few awesome restaurants in town. Typically we would head into town, eat, then the boys would wander around and shop, while we hung out and did our own thing in town. Kristie helped us figure out where the ATV trails were and that ended up being endless entertainment! Every morning and evening we sat outside and just took in the beauty- it seriously was so relaxing and peaceful. Exactly what we were looking for on our trip! The only thing left for us to do is figure out when we’re going back- we’ll definitely be repeat customers!

Great Getaway!
This was a great getaway for us. Our family of four was traveling with my parents and my in-laws for a little vacation from the heat to see Northern Arizona. The house is maybe 10 minutes from the Grand Canyon Railway Station, 15 minutes from Bearizona, 1 hour from the Grand Canyon. With 4 bedrooms, everyone had their own room (kids shared a bed) and bathroom (we shared with the kids). So everyone had their own space to go to if they needed. The beautiful kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need! Loved grilling and enjoying the back deck in the evenings. Kids enjoyed learning how to play pool, checkers, and the tree house that we discovered on the last day! It was so peaceful here and the stars -- so many stars at night. I think your home made this trip a success! Thanks so much!

Amazing family vacation spot
This was the very first time we had ever considered renting a home for a family vacation. I did a lot of research before finding this log cabin and read tons of reviews. We took a chance and it paid off HUGE! Kristie, your log home vacation rental is GORGEOUS!!! I am a self proclaimed 'hotel snob' and do not believe in living away from home unless the location is comparable to home or an upgrade......your log cabin checked both boxes! The photos DO NOT do this log cabin justice. To top it off, the area is quiet and country-like. We found the people in the city of Williams to be absolutely charming, kind and welcoming. This cabin is just a hop, skip and a jump away from so many amazing places to visit, including the Grand Canyon, Bearizona, Cameron, Sonoma, and more! The landscape surrounding and between all locations is breathtaking. We truly did not want to leave when the week was up :)

Wonderful!
This is our 3rd trip to the cabin and we love it. My girls are 6, 5,5, and they had a blast this year playing in the basement and actually getting to sled with the fresh snow. There was not a thing missing in the house that we wished we had had. Definitely will return, in fact my girls wanted to come back every year! Thanks Kristie

Amazing for Polar Express Getaway
Our group could not stop raving about this property! We visited Williams in November with 3 families to do the Polar Express and Grand Canyon. We had 7 kids 9 and under and this home was absolutely perfect. As soon as the kids arrived, they played in the great room downstairs and uncovered train tracks, car tracks, games, coloring books, action figures and more. It was a great way to keep them busy while the adults unpacked! The land around the property was amazing for letting the kids just run around. There was even a tiny frozen pond behind the house and the kids loved breaking the ice with sticks and throwing rocks onto the frozen water. There's a small tree house with a zip line that the kids thought was awesome. The home itself was decorated for Christmas which was such a special ambiance. We cooked almost every meal in the home and found everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, although we could have used a few more bath towels and extra linens for a blowup bed we used for some of the kids (they might have been somewhere in the house, we just didn't find them). It was a 5 minute drive into Williams - super convenient for running to the store or sightseeing. We had dinner in town before the Polar Express and enjoyed walking around the shops. Next day we drove 1 hour to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Third day we visited Bearizona and were surprised that this was definitely a highlight of the trip. Kids LOVED it and adults did, too. Definitely add to your agenda if you have time. Kristie was responsive to all of our questions. We were worried that we couldn't get the fireplace to turn off but Kristie told us it wasn't a big deal and even though it wasn't an issue, we coordinated to get a repair guy to the property the next day (we didn't have to be home or anything... he scheduled it all with Kristie). Overall a beautiful home and would 100% recommend for any families traveling for the Polar Express!!

Cabin was beautiful and in a great location!
The cabin was clean and well stocked with the essentials and then some! Great place to get away from it all with lots of entertainment options. Property sits on a very spacious lot with nice views of nearby mountains and forest. Hiking trails are nearby as are logging roads for mountain biking. The owners go to great lengths to ensure your stay is pleasant and memorable. We will definitely return!
