“I can not say enough great things about this place! The communication with the owner and property manager was great and timely. The house is so much bigger than what the pictures show. Beautiful sunrises. Sherry was a hoot and so helpful! I will definitely be renting this place every time we come to the island! Excellent job with it! I would add a shower curtain or a blind in the bathroom though but that's just me. Beautiful bathroom though too”

“It was a great place for a small family gathering. It has a lovely deck and waterfront, place for campfires and grilling. The marina down the road allows a larger boat access, and small boats can be brought to the private dock. It’s located on a protected cove that has interesting islands and coves to explore by boat. Only problem was we didn’t catch any fish!”

“The cabin was roomy and so peaceful with waves lapping on the shore all day and night. Loved watching the sunset from the deck. Watched a duck family and a goose family in the water and sandhill cranes flying overhead talking to each other. The cabin was well stocked for cooking and the king bed was comfortable. A lovely 3-day stay!”

“Clean and comfortable cabin! Great internet and awesome view! We really enjoyed our stay. There was both a nice fire place inside and firepit out by the lake. We saw 2 Bucks and a mama bear and cub crossing the road. The neighbor showed us a video of a Moose in the woods just 2 doors down that happened while we were there. Totally a fantastic experience. The serenity of the water and woods are relaxing and unforgettable. Awesome huge deck to hang out on! Hope we can come back again soon!”

“Immaculate property. Very quiet location and it felt extremely private. The smell of the pine trees, the beautiful view of the St. Mary River (the passing ships were close too) and the sunsets were amazing! The owner just added a hot tub and it was so relaxing to be in it watching the colors in the evening sky and then the lights across the river from DeTour.
