- If you intend to fish: bring your own poles & cooler if you intend to keep your catch. No fish cleaning is permitted on-site & no fish coolers are allowed inside the home
- Swim towels are not provided; it is recommended that guests bring their own
- The location is scenic, natural & lakeside. Please be aware that insects like mosquitoes, ants, and bees are common outdoors. While the property is treated quarterly, we recommend guests bring insect repellent and storage containers/bags to store food

LOCAL REGULATIONS
- A fishing license is required of any resident who fishes in the public waters of Texas, and failure to produce proof of license can result in fines by the Game Warden. Easy online purchases can be found on the Texas Parks & Wildlife website
- All canoe, kayak, and paddleboard operators must have USCG-approved wearable PFDs for each person on board. Violating this may result in fines by the Game Warden. There is an assortment of limited sizes, but you may want to consider bringing your own as well
- County burn bans are issued frequently, use of fire pit may not be allowed. Adherence is required
